Young Maleficent Halloween Costume DIY!
Dress up the young Maleficent for Halloween with your own hands!
I enjoy seeing Maleficent as a child who grows up and loves the country. It has large horns and wings, making it the perfect Kozplay costume. This charming costume was made in 2015.
This Disney-inspired costume is perfect for Halloween or a fan convention. Create Disney-inspired Maleficent costumes from the Maleficent animated film.
This dark angel does not always have a dark side, wings made with his own hands, horns and simple fairy-tale attributes.
This is a great costume for a teen or teenager! My daughter is perfect for this piece and she really chose this costume idea herself!

Start by drawing the basic shape of the horn on 2-inch foam. The size of the horn depends on the size of the person holding it.
Start with paper and hold the baby’s head and trim as needed. Once you find the right size, use a thermal cutter to cut the foam.
Start with a simple lock.
Then start cutting the sides into round horns.
Repeat the threading process for the second horn, doing the opposite.
After carving, apply Smooth Finish and thinly cover the horns with your fingers.
Leave to dry completely.
Next, spray a little black paint and sprinkle with a shade of brown. Make it on a piece of cardboard.
Then cut a piece of brown fabric measuring 2 x 6 inches, fold one side by about 1/4 ", and stick with hot glue.
Then glue the horns in place with hot glue, but leave half of the sensation hanging from the horns.
Then cut the felt into tabs and glue them to the bandage. (Note: do not use plastic tape, it melts and has no tape shape)
Put the headband on your head and mark where to place the horns. Then remove the bandage and hold the horns.
So much for the bandage! The biggest and most iconic part of Maleficent is over!
Let's make these wings glorious!
For wings like mine (adult size), you will need:
2 boxes of foam8 sheets of fun chocolate foam
400 brown feathers
polyplastic
flexible
Sticky guns
hot wood knife / burner with nozzle for pisau x-acto blade
Use a pencil and draw a basic pattern for the wings. This is very rude. Then with a hot knife cut off the foam. You have to use a hot knife, only the x-acto doesn’t cut the foam well enough inside, and that would be a disaster.
Then turn the wings and switch to another sheet of foam and repeat the cutting process.
Glue 2 pieces of cheerful brown foam to the center of the foam ... then cut off the remaining foam with scissors. I cut off some of the excess foam and glued it to the hot spot on the top sheet of foam. This way I can soap as much as possible. Then turn over and repeat.
Leave about 4 inches of white horn-shaped tips on the wing tips.
Next, attach 100 springs to each of the 4 sections. I knew the feathers weren’t enough to fill the area, so from time to time I placed them in groups.
Cut as many pen sticks as possible ... some are too long!
Then put on the wings in small groups.
Cover the top with a fairly thick horn.
Then use molded plastic from Polly Plastics.
I like these things, I really use it! You can just heat the water in a glass jar for a few minutes until it boils. Then pour the granules. They become lighter, melt and form!
Then take a plastic spoon. Plastic can heat up, but not as hot as water ... so be careful. Then form plastic around the board to make these big, beautiful, folding, rounded edges! Leave to dry completely.
Next, make a hole in his arm and tie a black strap through it.
Her top is as tight as a corset.
Next, add a few elastic loops from the top to the bottom of the holes on both sides, leaving them loose enough to tightly fit the sleeves.
To complete the look, look for a simple green or natural shade dress. Our Aqua, but it still works. We found a large brown scarf at the grocery store and carved the letters V on it to match her head. Belted and adorned with natural necklaces.
Add a bracelet and necklace with wooden beads ... maybe a back pocket and voila! This young Maleficent costume is perfect! Even the shadows he casts are impressive!
The wings have been shown solely to give a sense of proportion.
Add a little bright red lipstick to complete the look!
