Resin Pour Geode Glitter Canvas DIY

Geode Glitter Cloth DIY Resin

Pour a resin geode over the canvas and add shine to the wall for a perfect expression. This stunning resin-casting canvas is like a geode, open to the appearance of layers of shining crystals. Create a single mural using many geode pore techniques and bright shines.

My favorite color is blue. I love all shades of blue! As a result, most of the drawings I make are blue. What is your favorite color? What color will the spilled geode be?

Necessary accessories for resin geodes:

Mixing glasses, sticky sticks, disposable gloves, disposable work surface, small mixing glasses

Elongated canvas is a nice surface to work with, but the canvas can be weakened due to the weight of the resin. Find a board or box that fits on the back of the canvas and one that will hold its shape while you work with the resin.

Step 1: Mix the resin

First, read the resin blending instructions. Although I have used it many times in the past, I read the instructions each time. Mix one part resin and one part hardener in a mixing bowl.

Set a timer for 2 minutes and mix well, regularly scraping the sides and sticks. Then transfer the resin mixture to a second glass and use a new blender to mix for another minute.

Step 2: Add color

Then pour a little resin into small glasses. Add a few drops of light color and opaque white pigment.

Leave the resin clean for a while in the mixing bowl.

Step 3: Launch it

Start by pouring a small circle of clean resin. This is the center of the geode and looks very clear.

Then pour the colored resin ring around the clean middle ring.

Continue to add resin rings, don’t worry about covering all parts of the fabric.

Then place the glitter in a small glass of resin. Shine even in individual rings.

Lift the canvas with a gloved hand and bend the resin further to cover the canvas.

It is not too inclined not to distort the shape of the geode.

Now that the bright, transparent colors fill the canvas, it’s truly amazing.
But not done yet! Add another glass of resin in the 2-step process as before. Pour the light resin mixture into small glasses and add the opaque pigment color instead of the translucent dye.

Then pour the colored resin into the rings over the transparent resin. It adds so much depth and natural geode look. Scatter the shiny rings around the canvas, leaving some areas full of shine and other areas uncovered.

Finish all the resin, and use a stick to cross the white resin rings. I love this look. Maybe put it aside and stop there!

Or take it a step further and give it a more natural finish. Use a heat-burning tool to create bubbles and mix the edges of the white resin.

Then let the canvas dry overnight. Make sure it stays stable on a flat surface while the resin dries and hardens.

When the canvas is dry, sand all the drops that have formed on the bottom of the canvas and hang it so that the world can enjoy it. Sequins glow like crystal in the light.

That's it! Like, pin and share!
