Back to the mermaid costume!
Combine with Mermaid Scale leggings or shiny Mermaid stockings ! (Both are available on Amazon Prime for 2 days!)
What do you prefer? Skirts or leggings?
I think you need both!
I wore leggings to a family party and a skirt to church - again, no reason to dress up!
Here's a short video of the process, and it's actually really quick! It takes less than 10 minutes from start to finish!
Materials needed to make a mermaid costume at the last minute:
hemp or sweater
Accessories:
Coral necklace or cap
Right-click to save the shell image:
Step 1: Cut with an iron
Start uploading to Cricut Design Space in the PNG format above or find a sample of your projectiles.
Then measure them to match the shirt you want. I made 4 inches wide after a quick breast measurement.
Place the ironed vinyl on the mat, with the clear side down. Then cut 2 hats.
Step 2: Iron
Remove the iron from the mat and cut the shells. Then use the Cricut Hook Tool to remove excess iron.
Step 3: Iron the Sinks
Now place the shells with a piece of shirt and a pencil or pen mark where you want to sit. They should neither be too high nor too low for obvious reasons!
Then remove the shirt and place it on the EasyPress mat. Place the ironing boards on it and iron for 330 seconds at 330*.
Allow the iron to cool completely before removing the plastic sheet. Then slowly remove and make sure the iron is secure. Otherwise, click again.
He is!
Leave the shirt in the dryer for a few minutes to remove any iron wrinkles and it's ready to wear.
It is so difficult to take pictures of the great effect of holographic ironing. Shine and change color in different lighting. It also reflects a lot of clarity! It draws attention to the chest in a very fun and playful way... but in a humble way!
Then decorate as much as you want! Add a flower or a crown to your hair...add a large necklace...or a shell!
This costume can be customized for any age and gender! Maybe a mermaid man or an inner boy? Manta Man maybe? Aquaman?
I really like the way it turned out - and I'm happy to wear it all year round!
I hope you like this simple last minute Halloween costume idea!
