How to make quartz crystal from bitumen
This fun craft allows you to create beautiful crystals of your choice ... enough to fill your precious box! They look like real quartz crystals and reflect light in the same way. Learn how to make bitumen crystals with EasyMold and EasyCast adhesives. get started!
Materials needed:
A small plastic box that fits the crystal
1 or more real crystals (can be made of clay or wood)
Hot glue gun
Stimulus rod
Cup to mix
Disposable gloves and workspace
Mold production;
Start by creating a crystal shape. Find a plastic box that matches your real crystal. Crystals can also be carved from baked clay or wood.
Gently spray the mold into the container. Next, place the hot glue through a crystal.
Put the hot glue under the plastic box, fix it instead of crystal.
Now is the time to mix light mold silicone rubber. Read and follow the instructions carefully.
Combine one part of each bath and mix well. Spray the air conditioning pot on the mold and remove the varnish, this will help you when trying to get rid of mold.
After mixing according to the instructions, place the silicone rubber into a plastic container and completely cover the crystals. Leave in a saucepan for 24-48 hours.
After inserting the silicone rubber, remove the mold from the plastic box. This can be a little difficult ... but keep working with a moving stick, releasing each edge.
Made of glue;
Cut the silicone rubber mold into small pieces. Then add Easycast resin. The best way to determine how much to mix is to fill the mold with water and then pour the water into a measuring cup ... then mix the volume.
Mix EasyCast Asphalt in 2 steps according to the instructions. Mix one part hardener with one part hardener for 2 minutes. Then throw it in the second cup and mix it with the second stick for 1 minute.
Pour the glue into a crystal shape. Allow the glue to dry for 24 hours. Then remove the asphalt crystal from the silicone mold. The mold is silicone and flexible because it is very easy to remove. Repeat as many times as you want!
