How to do Cindy Lou Who Hair Tutorial

Throughout the story, Cindy Lou gets out of bed and the Grinch is busy stealing Christmas from her. He gave her some water and sent her back to bed. He appears at the end of Who-Fast singing around the tree in town, but plays a very minor role.

I loved him as a child.

The Grinch has a more prominent role on the live broadcast with Jim Carrey on the show. They are described as people who love Christmas and forget the true meaning of Christmas.

Her hairstyles and dresses go beyond bows, braids and all the work. This is a rat race trying to be the most Christmassy. This is where the fun hair comes in.

Cindy Louis costumes are as simple or as elaborate as you want them to be. We found a simple red dress, combined it with striped tights and added a fur collar.

With the right haircut, it can be quite easy.

The first year we tried this fun haircut was in 2009, my daughter is 5 and she really enjoys all the attention she gets at the Christmas party.

Her hair is quite fine, but it's still great for Cindy Louis's hairstyle. This hairstyle would work well with long hair.

The following year we used a wooden skirt as a cape and combined it with a red dress with striped stockings. He had his tonsils out a week ago, so he wasn't feeling any better, but he insisted on coming to church for Christmas and getting dressed.

Two years later, when she was dressing up at the beach and Elf and I were in the middle of it, we went to great lengths to make the Cup of Cheer headband that she would wear as Cindy Louis, who was in The Grinch.

And last year she dressed like this in 2013. Her hair is the longest, so feel free to make it a little more special. It's a fun tradition... I wonder if my 17 year old daughter will let me do it this year too...

Let's start with the tutorial How to Create a Cindy Louis Hairstyle.

Start by teasing your hair midway up or down. Leave the hair on the sides and back and then weave it.

Now cut the stretched part of the hair in half.

Then stick the paper cup between the split ends of your hair. Small cups are perfect for a girl's hair... but if you have longer hair, try a larger or taller cup.

You can also use a Styrofoam cone for a fluted top. There are many other interesting options once you know the basics.

Next, smooth the hair around the cup to completely hide it. If the hair is not thick enough to cover the cup, brush it gently to add texture and saturation.

Secure the hair around the cup with an elastic band.

Now the most interesting. Separate the rest of the hair braid and then secure it around the base of the cup. Add curls, ribbons, bows, scarves, or anything else fun for Christmas.
