I found The Cinch three years ago at my local store for $15! I wasn't sure if it would work...it's a risk when buying used items.

I had a little fight...but then I realized I could pay the loan back to the store if it didn't work out. I bought it and never returned it!

It is best to make the notebooks as you wish. Take the measure, take the filler paper, shuffle! Take different sized threads and make them as thick or thin as you like.

I started with the 4 main books in the middle, but after cutting the paper, I have a lot of extras. So I have taken many other measures and I like them.

Now cut the filler paper, chipboard, and cover paper to fit the notebook. These wonderful books measure 4 x 6 inches.

For each book, you will need a chip for the spine, a mixed technique on top. Padding paper can be over 1/2 inch thick...so depending on the thickness of the paper being padded, the amount of padding will vary.

Step 3: Drilling

Now read the graphic perimeter. Since my paper is 6 inches wide, I need to take out a 12 number pen so there isn't a half hole left. Then align the paper to the left and pull the lever.

Repeat the drilling process for all chipboard and fillers.

Make sure to align the paper with one edge and press that edge into the machine.

Step 4: Sealing
