How to set up a sublimation printer!
Learn how to set up a sublimation printer for various crafts. This Epson ET-2760 printer is perfect for adding sublimation ink so that you can easily transfer it to the sublimation space.
Setting up your Ecotank sublimation printer is easy with these simple steps.
This printer is perfect for crafts. It prints specific inks on specific paper so you can apply them with a heat press to clean surfaces (destined for sublimation). This fun technique can turn art into wearables... favorite mantras in cups... and memento photos!
Once you've set up your sublimation printer, air is the limit! Let's start by installing a sublimation eco-tank printer.
Consumables required to install a sublimation printer:
Epson EcoTank ET-2760 Supertank Wireless color printer without cartridges
sublimation paper
Hiipoo sublimation ink for EcoTank
Step 1: Fill in the pages with ink
Start by opening the Eco Printer and removing the ink that came with the printer . The printer requires special inks for sublimation.
And Hiipoo sublimation ink for EcoTank is by far the best and easiest to use!
Ink bottles fit directly into the ink ports, eliminating the need for a syringe to refill reservoirs. I didn't have any ink on my fingers, but I could have put on gloves to make sure.
Open the sublimation ink bottle, turn it upside down and press the corresponding tank. Then gently press the bottle to fill the reservoir.
Repeat the filling process for each of the tank colors. An empty tank contains more ink than paint. This process is pretty quick... but don't push too hard on the bottles, drain to fill, lightly press here and there.
Step 2: Set up the printer
When the ink tanks are full, connect the printer to the network and follow the instructions. I promise this process is very easy and Epson printer will help you with it.
The initialization process does take about 10 minutes... so be around, but maybe fold your laundry or load the dishwasher... and wait patiently.
After initialization the certificate is printed...? So load plain paper and print it out as a test paper.
Now we can connect to Wi-Fi and upload our own images, photos, illustrations, etc.
Step 3: smart panel
Install Epson Smart Panel and follow the instructions to connect to Wi-Fi The printer is then ready to use. If you are working on a sublimation project, print it on sublimation paper.
