How to Marble Ornaments with Easy Marble

Decorate rooms with this fun DIY marble decor project! Update plain plastic decor with Easy Marble in minutes. This fun craft will make you look around the house and ask what you can do with marble.

Marble can be applied to many surfaces: wood, paper, plastic, etc. I love marble and this is a great craft for all levels. A few years ago at Pinner College I got my primary education in marble and I really enjoyed it.

Marble comes in a solid color in a variety of colors (these paints are designed to not be confused with each other, so the color you get is the color you get... so you'll need multiple colors)

Start preparing supplies. Shake all the light marble and open the bottle. Almost fill the cup with water, there will be some offset so you don't waste too much. Hang clothes to dry the threads or prepare dishes for them.

Now add a drop of water to the cup. Marble spreads easily on the surface of the water.

Then add a drop or two of the next color. Only one drop is needed, but sometimes others come out.

Then add another color in the middle to make an apple pattern.

Keep changing colors with Easy Marble until you are satisfied. About 5-10 drops.

Now use your toothbrush to spin the Easy Marble. The marble will start to dry fairly quickly, so you can only spend a limited amount of time working with the marble.

Once satisfied, it's time to dive in!

Now hold on to the hanging bits of plastic trim, even put on gloves or smudge your nail polish!

Place the decoration in the cup and keep it under water. Then use a toothbrush to remove any remaining balls floating on the surface of the water...otherwise they will stick to the surface of the ball when you take it out of the water.

Then remove the decorations and look at the end result! I love how it looks! Leave it on for a few minutes and it will dry quickly or hang to dry. Then put on a plate and sprinkle with other decorations.

Then you will want to look inside your house and find many other things for marble!

This is a great way to recycle or decorate your Christmas decorations.

I think my blue and white Christmas tree is amazing! I love the unique look of the color swirl. I used Easy Marble in turquoise, black, white and gold.
