How to Make Hairpin Leg Wedding Cake Table
How to make a table for a wedding cake with returned wooden nails!
Create a beautiful table using recycled wood and hairpins with your own hands! This versatile table can be used for almost anything. Will there be a wedding in the future? This is the perfect table for a wedding cake. Ideal for cocktails on the terrace or in the living room with a large plant. What will your table be used for?
Hairpins - the perfect detail to make this table a quick and easy project with your own hands! I am happy to be able to work with Semi Exact on this exciting project. Let's get started!
Semi Exact will help you create unique furniture. You can choose the right length and variety of legs and then add a top. It's pretty simple.
For this tall wedding cake table I chose 4 black pins on a pin 40 inches high . They are the greatest of all and they are amazing! I like the height and strength of the three legs. At the round table you can go only 3 feet, it's up to you!
The legs of the stud are heavy and strong. This cake table wouldn’t have turned out without a really big, stupid, awkward punch.
I like the round recycled wooden bowl. We have just finished building a restored wooden fence (my beautiful background) and we have a lot of restored wood left. In May, it was interesting to create a small round table of the same wood as the fence to remind us of our favorite work.
I’m sure I’ll tell you more about my fence later and you’ll see the used backgrounds of many of its parts to the end. 😉
Where to buy high heels
The feet on the stud with my hands are the choice for all my studs ... and you know? It 's almost certain ! Best table, bench, desk, cake stand, sofa, furniture, etc. order everywhere.
The legs were neatly covered, neatly wrapped, and the box was intact and safe. (Thanks UPS!) Includes screws, rubber feet, guides ... and vinyl stickers! He did it in my water bottle.
If the side table is not suitable for the car, the legs can be easily removed and reassembled. Ideal for a wedding in the garden or in nature, it imparts a beautiful rustic feel.
Required materials for the root wedding cake:
restored tree
vigilant table
Saw Gonye (optional)
wood glue
exercises
Screws (with caution plugs)
Manual planner (optional)
abrasive grinding (optional)
sandpaper (optional)
Step 1: Assemble the restored wooden countertop
Start by collecting saved firewood. I used 2x4s, 4x4s and some fence boards. Then cut each piece of wood about 1 inch longer than the desired length.
The width was 15 centimeters, so each board is cut by 16 centimeters.
We used our mushroom saw, but a table saw would do.
The second step: reduce the height of the panels
Now all the boards need to be cut to the same height. Arrange the table saw railing so that they are all the same, less than 4 inches. Then cut each board in the same way.
Step 3: Align the panels
Now align the panels to your liking. Change the width of the boards next to each other as well as the color of the wood.
Prepare wooden clamps and glue. Also work on a surface that does not stick to the project. We used marble tiles.
Step 4: Glue the panels together
Apply a lot of glue to each edge of the board and then squeeze them together. The glue will seep into any small cracks on the board, so it is important to apply the glue to both sides of the boards before joining them together.
After placing on the last wooden masonry, secure it with clamps. Then allow the glue to dry and harden overnight.
Step 5: Grinding and forming
Once the glue dries and hardens, it’s time to polish and shape it. We used a hand glider to make the top surface smooth and even.
It can be used as a sanding machine or even sandpaper.
Then use a disc sander to smooth out the rough glue that leaks out of the cracks.
Then draw a circle at the top of the board. We looked at the garden vase because it is the perfect size. You can use a rope and a handle as a compass.
The board looks great with a square shape, but we’ll take it to the next level by rounding it up. If you don’t have the technical skills to do this, keep it in order and it will still look great!
After gluing the recycled wooden boards it was time to cut a circle out of them. Start by cutting the corners with a table saw. Then walk along the board, cutting small pieces to make a circle.
When finished, use sandpaper to sand the edges. Watch an accelerated video of the process, which took about 5 minutes:
Step 6: Feet of daggers
Now turn the wooden table over and place the dowels on it. Tighten your legs in place.
It's that simple!
And now sit down at the table and enjoy!
Step 7: Resin counters
Spray Enfirotex Clear High Gloss Resin to finish the countertop. It will really reveal different colors of wood and make it shiny! It takes the project from weird to weird!
Just follow the instructions and gently spray the product on the surface. I applied two coats of resin.
See how it shows the bright colors of recycled wood! I like flaws, knots and unique pieces of wood.
Now everything is ready for the wedding and fill it with a beautiful cake! Perfect for birthday cakes!
I like the elegance of the table and the length is impressive! Ideal for getting up and enjoying a drink or plate of fruit. Ideal for a summer balcony.
I have a 6-inch cake stand that is very small. I know this table will look great with a 12-inch cake! Who wants to use it at a wedding?
A large plant stands in the living room. I love recycled wood! You can tell
It’s also easy to make these cake toppers with a screamer baking device! Just make a 1/4 inch circle and put a picture with the word in the middle, then connect the shapes and cut out the cardboard. Then glue the hot glue to the toothpick! Simple and cute!
that's all!
I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
