How to Make Acrylic Ornaments 3 Ways!
How to make acrylic jewelry in 3 ways!
Hey guys, I just discovered acrylic blanks and I really like them. I will show you three ways to make an acrylic decoration. Which decoration do you like the most?
Decorate the Christmas tree, give gifts to the neighbors, or make some pieces to sell for the holidays! These decorations are minimalist and sophisticated. Let's get started!
Acrylic jewelry is made in 3 ways:
Nr. 1: Hand letters with markers and paint
# 2: Cut permanent vinyl with cricket
No. 3: Engraving with Cricket Maker
Materials needed for acrylic decorations:
ribbon
paintbrush
permanent points
Permanent vinyl
engraving tools
Acrylic ornaments no. 1: Hand letters with markers and paint
Start by removing the protective backing from the front and back of the acrylic blank.
Then apply a little paint, just a little, to the back of the decoration with a brush. It really leaves the brush and does not cover the whole gap. Then let the paint dry completely.
Then empty the acrylic and use a permanent marker to add a surname, a funny phrase, a monogram or other handwritten letter to the ornament.
Finally, add a few ribbons to tie it to the tree. These decorations make a wonderful gift for a neighbor or family ... especially to celebrate 2020 as such an extraordinary year.
Acrylic Ornament # 2: Grid Permanent Vinyl Cut
Start by removing the protective layer of the acrylic blank.
Then use the cricket cutter to cut the vinyl. I chose the word Mary! The gaps are just less than 2 inches in diameter, so the vinyl should be smaller, but choose a larger tone to make it less brittle. Then additional vinyl grass.
Now transfer the vinyl to the acrylic slot with transfer strap and a cricket scraper.
Then remove the portable strap. Remove the back of the acrylic blanket and tie the decoration with ribbon.
Again suitable for personalized jewelry, gifts for neighbors, gift tags and souvenirs.
Acrylic Decoration # 3: Engraving with Cricket Maker
The final decoration is my new favorite obsession. Check out these acrylic keychains I made last week. Start by removing the top acrylic piece.
Image design in cricket design space. Select the Engrave option. I think it's best to choose the "Draw" image and the "Write" font.
Then align the image with the mat and press the edge, place the engraving tool and press Go.
Then take the tape off and see what a cool engraving! I like how it turned out. It is soft and refined. Add a little color to the back as the first decoration if you want it to stand out!
Then tie it with ribbon and hang it on the Christmas tree! Perfect holiday crafts The perfect DIY decoration!
So ... what's your favorite?
