How to Fold an Envelope with Double Sided Paper

How to fold a double-sided envelope!
Learn how to fold beautiful paper envelopes and matching postcards using double-sided paper. These adorable cards can be sent and brighten the recipient's day! You can make these A2 envelopes from what you already have, such as magazine pages or serial numbered boxes. A2 is the ideal half sheet (or quarter sheet) size of half a sheet of folded paper. Knowing how to fold an A2 size envelope is a great skill for any last minute gift, greeting card, party invitation, or fun letter.

Materials needed to fold envelopes:

Scoring tool (I use my Cricut tool)

Step 1: Cut the paper into 8-inch squares.
Start by cutting the paper into 8-inch squares. Then mark the midpoint (4) in each of the four directions.Step 2: Evaluate the Line
Then use the ruler to align the 2 characters diagonally. Then use the scoring tool to rate the cards. Repeat this process on the opposite side as well.
Then fold the sheet along the notch line.
Step 3: Mark the Other 2 Edges
Now mark the folded edge of the paper half an inch below the corner.
Repeat in the other direction and mark from one mark to another.
Repeat for the opposite side of the envelope. Then fold the fold up and down along the marking line.
Envelopes are almost ready! This method works for all envelope sizes, but this is my preferred size. Making my envelope really helped!
Now use the Tombow MONO Plus permanent glue and apply the glue along the bottom edge of both sides of the wings.
Then fold the bottom cover and press the adhesive firmly.
Now make a matching card! Cut out a 4.25" x 5.5" piece of Echo Park paper and use MONO+ Permanent Glue to glue the paper to the folded piece of cardboard.
Write this on the inside of a postcard and put it in an envelope. Seal the envelope with one of the Little Woodcutter stickers.
This would make a great party invitation (if we can still celebrate)...and a great way to get started with Christmas cards!
