Giant Hand Dyed Coffee Filter Rose DIY
DIY Giant Pink Coffee Filter
The bright giant flowers are my favorite. I am very allergic to real flowers, so I can't have them at home. Instead, I made paper roses. This is my freshest and favorite. Create large, hand-painted coffee filter flowers with just a few ingredients. This huge paper flower measures 16 inches square. It's perfect for a flower display...or to create a bouquet for a flower wall display, it's perfect for parties, weddings, giant bouquets or any other lavish occasion.
This stunning flower is made with 115 coffee beans on a fine, smooth hand-painted layer.

wax paper or plastic cloth
Step 1. Paint the coffee filter
Start by pouring about 1/8 cup of water into a shallow dish. Add half a teaspoon of food coloring. The more food coloring you use, the brighter the color will be. Mix water and paint.
Take 4-5 coffee filters, fold them into quarters and place them in the middle.
Then submerge the coffee filter in colored water. The coffee filters will absorb the food coloring.
Then place the coffee filter on wax paper or plastic wrap to dry. Repeat for various colors. Allow the coffee filter to dry completely... about 8 hours or overnight.
The coffee filter is now ready to turn into a stunning rose.
Step 2. Collect the flowers from the coffee filter
Start making a rose from the center to the edges.Create a hub.
Start by covering the yellow-orange filters with 5 coffee filters, then cut them in half.
Click on the corners and roll the central stack with the conical egg, leaving the edges on the curved part of the coffee filter.
Collection of rose petals
Now place 5 coffee filters on top of each other, fold them in half to form rose petals. Then place the center of the rose on top of the petals.
Bend the petals around the center - glue them.
Repeat the process with 5 coffee filters, which are folded in half.
Then glue them together.
Repeat the process for the petals. The center will grow, causing the petals to be placed separately. Just tie it on one side and then tie it on the other side.
It is very beautiful to see the roses bloom. If you create a background, create roses of different sizes.
Layer them in different colors to add dimension. Keep pressing the petals around the rose.
I started with pink, red and orange, and then I finished my pink with green: green. Decide what your rose will look like and go
I like the thin layer of this pink coffee filter.
Make a petal on top of the previous petal until the size is sufficient. My rose is 16 inches square and about 6 inches tall. I like it! Uses 115 coffee filters.
Here is the back of the rose, you can see how the petals appear in the previous one.
The petals make it easy to hang roses from hooks.
