Doll review: Monster Exchange Marisol Coxi
Spirit of Peace and God!
Today I saw Marisol Coxine (same as Big Foot) participating in the Monster High Monster Exchange program. She appeared as part of the Monster Exchange doll line with Lorna McKenzie (you can read our Lorna commentary here ). She is Abby Bombnbil's cousin, but they have nothing in common.
Marisol's box looks like Lorna's, with the front image on the front left and a giant image on the back in front of the character.
Once the plastic box is removed, you can get a closer look at Marisol.
After a few minutes of cutting the plastic, here's Marisol:
The first thing I know when you take him out of the box is that his hair is a mess, but we'll talk about that later. First, I want to focus on the color of this doll.
Marisol has purple-grey skin on her wrists and ankles. She has a beautiful face with shiny eyebrows and colorful makeup.
Her hair usually has a combination of two pinks and two lime greens (or whatever it's called) in the front. Unfortunately, her hair is very greasy and messy, which is very common in the Monster High line of dolls.
Marisol doesn't wear earrings. Instead, she wears plastic palms placed over her bra. Obviously there's a certain amount of extra plastic you can put in each doll.
He also made this lime green plastic hat, which I don't really like, which is glued to hair from the most visible bits of plastic.
Big arms and legs. At first I thought it would be the same size as Abyss or Casta but it turned out to be bigger. Here's a Castar Fire hand comparison where you can clearly see the hair flung onto the wrist.
Also, her legs and feet are bigger than other dolls that use her older sister's barn legs. I compared Marisol with Nefera so you can see the difference
And again her feet are bigger than Neferra's. However, Marisol's shoes are very beautiful.
And because of her long and wide legs, she was taller than the doll that made up her older sister's body. There is a Marsol near Casta so you can see the difference.
I also like the colorful dress. She wears a pink shirt and a dress with black and green chains. He's wearing a cute little orange jacket.
It also comes with this two-dimensional lemon green bag.
Due to her length and color palette, Marisol is in stark contrast to the other characters depicted in the series.
I think Marcel is a great addition to my overall Monster High collection and would love to see more Monster Exchange characters in the near future. However, I'm a little annoyed to see how Monster High dolls are dropping every day and almost every doll I own these days has something in their hair.
What do you think of Marcel? Added to your collection?
