DIY Valentine's Day Decoration Paper Crown with Cricut Maker

Red roses, blue violets and cricketers are also great for Valentine's Day home decor! If you've been on my blog for a long time, you know that I'm allergic to flowers.
I love making paper flowers, they are colorful and cheerful and beautiful to look at.

Valentine's Day decorations in pink and red...in shades of hearts and flowers...and add some sparkly gold for the crown decoration!

I love the different shades of pink...I love the shiny gold. I love how this Valentine's decoration turns into a wreath. I'm addicted to paper flowers and these stunning bouquets can be ready in an afternoon.

You will need:

Cretan manufacturer
Cricut Score Wheel
Cricut Cardstock 12x24 Color Red
Cricut 12 x 24. Lightweight Non-Slip Mat
Cricut Glitter Cardstock
Material Riley Blake Polka Dot
20" polystyrene crown
hot glue gun
Cricut Design Room 7

And these 5 cricket hall design projects:

pink flower
Red flower
Bright pink flowers
Golden leaf
plum accordion

If you don't have 12x24 paper or mat, just use Cricut Access and search for 3D flowers.

Here is the red paper suit: I love the different shades of pink. Perfect for your Valentine's Day crafting needs!

Start by placing the colored cardboard on the cutting mat. It doesn't matter which color file you use. Just pick a color you like.

I love the 12x24 mat size...and the matching sized card stock is great! Some images require judgment, so be prepared to replace the engraving wheel with a knife. This machine is so smart it will always tell you what tools it needs.

I quickly removed the excess paper from the mat.

Then, gently use a spatula and remove the flowers.

Take a fat quarter of the fabric and cut it into 1.5 inch strips.

Wrap the fabric around the wreath shape with hot glue and secure.

After wrapping the wreath, it's time to make the flowers. Fold the accordion flower along the dotted line. Glue 2 sheets of red paper together and hot glue them to form a circle. Hot glue on old paper.

Glue the seashell flower onto the red flower.

Attach the hot glue reservoir strips, then glue them together and onto the stack.

Garnish with small scallops.

Now just stick the flowers on the wreath.

Roll up the roll pieces and hot glue them to the center of the flower.

Keep filling the wreath with all that pretty pink.

I love polka dot fabric so I skipped showing it off, but feel free to fill in as many bouquets as you want!

Finish it with fairly shiny gold card stock. Use a sheet of gold leaf and a small mat. Use the carving wheel and knife to cut a dozen sheets.

Fold along the score line for dimension.

Perfect gold glitter finish!

Glue the leaves under and around the flower.

I really like how it turned out!
