If you have never shot one you owe it to yourself to give it a try. The resin consists of two parts and undergoes a chemical reaction to harden when mixed. It hardens in glass, becomes shiny, smooth and crystalline.
Resin can turn yellow over time, so it's best to use it on darker or at least non-white surfaces. All resins turn yellow over time, which is not specific. Just be careful when working with it. Presents a spectacular bright finish!
I chose "H" for my daughter, which letter should I choose?
Find a font with your favorite font style. I like the beautiful font, you can write by hand using a permanent marker or cut with an electronic knife using vinyl.
Monogrammed resin necklace materials:
Step 1: Cricut Vinyl
Using scissors or a hole, cut a piece of paper to fit the inside size of the frame.
Then, use Cricut Maker to cut vinyl the size of a pearl necklace about 3/4 inch long.
Then draw a little transparent masking tape on the vinyl and copy the first letter on scrapbook paper.
Step 2: Mod Podge
Then paint the metal pod on the frame.
Put the stationery inside and then draw the pod on paper. Allow to dry completely.
Step 3: resin jewelry
Now read the instructions for resin jewelry. It is very important to make sure that there are new instructions before mixing the resin. It is sensitive to time and will not rise properly if not mixed properly and your project will be ruined.
Well, read the instructions.
These beads do not require much resin, but mix 1 part resin with 1 part hardener and mix for 2 minutes. Transfer to another glass and mix for another minute with another mixer. Mixing this two-step process is important for solid resin processing.
Stir slowly to avoid excessive bubbles.
Place the wheel on a raised surface and then fill the inside of the wheel with the mixed resin. Allow to infuse for 5-10 minutes, then use a flashlight or heat gun to blow out any bubbles that form. Leave to soak overnight and harden.
Step 4: Add a line
Use pliers to attach the string to the frame.
