DIY Blanket Command Center Back to School!
How did school start for you?
Remember last year??? It's been such a year with a hybrid schedule, many new students, virtual students, and those returning to public schools put on masks and left.
What is common in all areas is the need for good organization.
Create a do-it-yourself command center for all your school organization needs with Plaid products . This awesome command center is perfect for moms who need to stay organized and on schedule.
It is perfect for students who want to keep track of their homework and assignments. Teachers can use it to follow the topic of the day and save additional masks.
How will you use your command center?
Necessary accessories for DIY command center:
- Folk art acrylic painting (waterfall, seashell and sea view)
- Treasure color gold (gold)
- 21 inch long 1x2 board
- 1x1 5" long board (3)
- Small nail and hammer
- Leather strip (you can use masking tape)
- Self-adhesive tape with Velcro
- Screwdriver
- Ribbons for painters
- clean soup jars
- hot glue gun
- glue E6000
Step 1: Paint the pallet board
Start by painting the top of the pallet board as desired.
I colored the palette marks with three different colors, leaving natural areas. Then let dry.
Step 2: Paint the board
Then apply tape to the board to hide where the paint collects.
Paint the wood, then remove the tape and let the board dry completely.
Then add some Treasure Gold dots for a modern look.
These little gold drops are perfect for a touch of gold reminiscent of animal prints. Use a blob of paint to cover up any less-than-perfect blue paint stains.
Step 3: Color the hanger with crystal buttons
Repeat the same process as before on the crystal button. Use masking tape to set aside pieces of wood. Then paint the tree a tea color. Let it dry completely.
Then continue with the Treasure Gold color in the same way as on the panel.
Step 4: Paint Soup Cans
Now paint the jar with light blue soup paint. Let it dry and apply another coat of paint.
Step 5: Assembling the command center
Let's start assembling this command center. Start by removing the hooks from the back of the crystal button hanger.
Then remove the cord from the pallet, mark it with a clip.
Take a strip of leather (or ribbon) and a piece of wood.
Add E6000 glue to a 20-21 inch long 1x2 board. Also add hot glue lines. The hot glue sticks right away, and the E6000 hardens slowly.
Place the panels behind the pallet panels and pallet panels. Glue the small board to the bottom of the surface with hot glue so that it sticks properly to the wall. Then let the glue dry for 4 hours.
Then secure the soup jars with leather straps. Hit one end of the pallet board with a small nail and hammer. You can also use hot glue.
Then place a piece of hot glue on top of the soup can.
Then glue the box to the pallet and wrap it with leather.
Attach the other side of the leather strip and hold it in place.
Hot glue 2 inch pallet brand leather strip with hanging clip with crystal stud.
Hot glue was enough to hold it in place, but I added a clip for extra strength...and it looks.
Step 6: Velcro Pattern
Now attach the Velcro to the pallet board. Place the hook side on the paddle board and the loop/soft side on the board.
As a result, the board fits snugly in the hand without scratching the plastic latch. Whiteboards are so versatile that they allow you to write menus, to-do lists, motivational quotes, or writing exercises.
Your father! It is over!
Fasten up now and get super organized!
Install the remote control in the hallway, bathroom or on the desktop. Spruce up the house with menus, motivational offers, a mask holder for quick errands, and some stationery.
Remove the board from the command center to practice writing letters or solving simple math problems. Place flashcards, word lists to write or memorize. Fill the mug with stationery.
Keep track of today's topics, make to-do lists, keep an eye on markers and chalk. Keep everything organized and in one place!
Do you think this DIY command center will help you get back to school games?
