Christmas Story Time:
When I was eighteen, I started running in the morning. My mother died a year ago and I miss her.
As I ran down the path, I saw a flash of light. Burning in the sun ...
All the while I was running in the bright light and wanted to see what could catch my attention from so far away.
It was a small piece of colorful plastic confetti engraved with "Happy Birthday".
I knew it was a small gift from my mother and she would take care of me later in life.
