Watercolor Floral Notebooks with The Cinch Binding Tool!
Watercolor Flower Notebooks with Cinch!
I love creating notebooks, journals, journals or sketchbooks, and the Cinch Binding Tool is the perfect way!
I'll show you how to make your notebooks a great DIY gift, a great photo storage, a journal, or just a return! Build a wired laptop in minutes.
I found The Cinch three years ago at a local hardware store for $15! I wasn't sure it would work...it's a risk you take when buying used hands.
I thought about it for a while…but then I realized that if my device crashes, I can get it back again. Buy it and don't regret!
Here's a video of the copier from Cinch in a previous post:
The best part is that the laptops can be customized to your liking. Choose the size, choose the filler paper, shuffle! Take flags of different sizes and make them as thick or as thin as you like.
I started with 4 booklets in the middle, but after cutting the paper I have a lot left. So I took a lot of other actions and I love it.
Make a notebook and leave the space blank to decorate the recipients or customize the skin as I did.
They're the perfect size for quick notes and fit in a bag, these mini notebooks are great gift ideas for teachers.
So for the professional view:
If you have a zinc bonding machine , the wires can be expensive. I ordered a huge 3:4 inch white gold wire (I get it from MyBinding.com )
In fact, now I have a car, I can't imagine without it! It's a good price for vacations only.
Laptop binding accessories:
2: 1 3/4" to 1 1/2" diameter jumper wire
Strathmore Heavy Mixed Media Paper (This material is very thick and suitable for laptop covers)
(You can fill it with colored paper, watercolor paper, drawing paper, and fill it with paper, etc.).
For watercolor:
doctor. PH Martens India Ink (Vivid Colors)
Step 1: Watercolor
Start by cutting your thick Strathmore mixed media to the size you need for your laptop sleeve. Then ink paint into the design you want! Then let the ink dry completely.
Envelopes can also be left blank for the recipient to create their own design!
Step 2: Cut the paper
We are now cutting the insert, chipboard and cover to fit the notebook. These favorite books measure 4 x 6 inches.
Each book needs a piece of agglomerate to make the spine, a technique mixed on top. Filling can be 1/2 inch thick. Depending on the thickness of the paper to be filled, the amount of paper will vary.
Step 3: Drill the holes
Read the rack chart now. Since my paper is 6 inches wide, I need to pull the #12 button so I don't make a half-slot. Then align the paper to the left and pull the lever.
Zinc can fill up to 20 pages at a time. I usually do about 6-8 pages at a time.
Repeat the stamping process for all chipboard and paper.
Make sure the paper is aligned with the edge and insert that edge into the machine.
Step 4: Seal
Now is the time to get rid of it and move on. Start counting the holes in the punched paper. Then cut the thread to make as many loops as possible. Then hang the thread on the side of the device.
First, we lay the lumpy substrate on the wires.
Then place the laptop cover on the board face down over the cables.
When opening the cap, make sure it is facing in the correct direction. I mixed some!
Then put the filling on the threads.
Step 5: Link
Carefully lift the wires from the flange and place them directly on the back of the RCA. Make sure it is set to the size of the cables you are using. Then press the lever to pull the threads down.
Then take out your laptop and check the cables! I love how easy it is with them!
Repeat this process for as many laptops as possible!
I usually start the drawing on a piece of paper a little larger than the final product so I can cut out the edges and put the drawing directly into my notebook.
After cutting the filling into 4" by 6" pieces, I had plenty of pieces left that I didn't want to waste. So I cut the board and masking paper to fit and used the leftover wire to tie the small notebooks together.
What is your favorite notebook? I'll give some of them away for Christmas, although I love my notebooks and keep them! That's what makes the Cinch Binding Tool so useful and awesome...and it's really worth it.
Add a pen and a fun heart, boom! The perfect gift! My daughter and I started publishing a travel magazine. He paints on one side, I paint on the other... We go back and forth, eager to see each other's arts or ideas.
