Victorian Ghost Children Halloween Photograph Editing Tutorial
Victorian Spirit Kids Halloween Photo Editing Tutorial
There is nothing more frightening than the depressed children of the Victorian era as repressed spirits. This is a fun way to capture ghosts with your camera! This is a wonderful photo shoot, one of my favorite projects with my kids
That lazy parasol and swinging pocket watch... these kids sure know how to create a spooky look in a tranquil setting. This funny post has been updated since 2012.
Looking at these pictures you can hear the children's laughter echoing through the forest. He remembers the time when their sad faces were lost.
These photos, the only Halloween decorations, absolutely stunning and perfect!
For this photoshoot:
camera
Tripoli
Victoria's children
Victoria accessories
Computer/laptop editing
Image editing software (Photoshop, PixLR, etc.)
First, 376 photos had to be taken. So let's get back to that. I explained to my kids what I wanted to do...10 year olds, 8 year olds and 4 year olds, all boarded up...but amazing. i have big kids
Step 1: Get dressed!
Children wear "old" clothes. The easier it is, the better.
The children wore a bow tie that I gave them for the recording and they sewed a shirt with a safety pin. The children wore formal church clothing. And do you think I put that dress in the closet for my daughter? Like a school uniform and dark gray tight clothes.
Then we got some accessories. An old key, a vintage pocket watch, and top-of-the-line sunglasses.
Then we wandered around...carrying hats and yoga pants with me. I saw amazing natural scenery ... and a small graveyard a mile away Infront of us. (Yes we have, my kids are amazing...and we are a car family)
After choosing a location, mount the camera on the tripod and do not disturb it. Arrange the children in the picture and take a picture or two.
Then attach the camera to the right spot on the trip and let the kids get behind the camera to take a picture. Take a background image.
Great Halloween photoshoot!
The best thing about this photoshoot is that not all my kids are laughing at the same time! I told her to be a little sad... and we took some great photos!
Step 3 ፡ Photo Fix
Reward your child with candy and movies now! They earn it!
Now, as always, I'm a Photoshop woman. I've been using it since high school... I remember when the caves were made for Photoshop for PC. why are you marrying me I decided to give Pixlr a try... and I really enjoyed it! It's free...great bonus! And it basically works like a Photoshop, so it didn't take me long to figure things out. So if you always want a good photo editor, give it a try!

The download process is easy and you can see the two images side by side.
Now you have 2 steps. Then up (with people) Select this little carrot to change the default layer settings
This will bring up the OPACITY bar. That is fun. Use the cursor to render people as ghosts! Every picture is different. With some I am clear at 60% with others at 73%
Then you want to see the covers and make sure they are as flat as possible. Not always very good, but it gives you a sense of accomplishment.
Then delete the picture... You can also use sepia tones or older photo effects.
Repeat the pictures as many times! We edit so many photos! Don't trust Walmar for an hour We made cards for family and friends and decorated the entrance walls.
It helps if you have a vintage ornate frame... a bit spooky! I love how they add a spooky Halloween glow to our decorations.
These photos are local. They are a wonderful reminder since they came out in 2012 and 9 years have passed! In North Carolina, I love seeing my children, the horrors of our childhoods, the sadness of their childhoods.
If you can find a family headstone and take a picture of it, it will be an interesting family history lesson. Putting your last name on a tombstone is scary.
Very good, no! ? These kids were tough, they walked about a mile, wore weird clothes and were left alone to take pictures for this fun photo shoot.
I have really great kids. And really, I want to recreate and reproduce this recording. Maybe I'll find a spooky street or an abandoned house! What do you think
Like, anchor and share! Or... save later!
Check out this wonderful video montage too! While she was there, my husband worked on 5, my son.
