Step 1: Draw the dots
Start with a mark on the pumpkin to make a point where you want to place the nail. I just wrote "BU" just to make it easier to quit.
Step 2: Kill the spikes
Then gently tap the pumpkin nails. Pumpkin is strong, durable and holds nails well. Leave a 1/4 inch nail on the side.
Step 3: Embroidery Thread
Now take the black thread to wrap the nail.
Start by tying a knot at the end of the thread. Then press it around the first nail.
Fold the knot to make it nice and tight.
Then cover the nail completely with the next one, return to the first, then move on to the second. Then close the second nail and continue until the third nail. Drop the system down and it should flow properly.
When the first letter is finished, tie a knot. Then repeat the process for the next letter.
And finally, the last letter. I love the look of this pumpkin on a string!
