Pumpkins DIY Shabby Chic rustic metal
Create your own rustic pumpkin for the perfect fall outfit. I saw something similar in the Hobby Lobby and knew I could recreate it with some of the items I already had. This will add a stylish element filled with fun to your fall holiday. I like how it turned out!
It’s pretty easy to do in an hour or two. The bigger it is, the easier it is to make ... so start with it and then reduce it. Isn't it scary to look at them !?
You will need: (including an affiliate link)
Metal tape ( here or here or here )

Tree branches (8, 6 and 4 inches)
Tree sticks (small pieces for stems)
Train and bite
Hot glue gun
Start by releasing the metal strip and loosening it slightly.
Use a drill to make a hole between the branches.
Look for round metal around the wand ... let it go out for a while. Carefully tighten the metal tip and rod. Hold loosely for part of the formation.
Use the washing machine to prevent the screw from slipping through the metal holes.

The next step is difficult and I didn’t get a picture of the process, sorry! Make a loop around the rod, concentrating the layers of metal tape.
The metal is soft and easy to fold when needed. I had an extra metal strip glued to the top to make this sheet. Then screw the washer.
Then use a hot glue gun and a short stick ... and an E6000.
Slightly inflate the E6000 glue in the middle of the leg.
Then fill the outer edges with hot glue. The hot glue will help them mount immediately, and the E6000 will give it strength.
Place over screws and metal straps.
Repeat as many pumpkins as you want! They are expensive and elegant - and more gorgeous than you can make yourself!

Everything is perfect from September to November!
