My favorite color is blue. I love all shades of blue! So, there is blue in most of the projects I do. What is your favorite color? What color does your iodine fill?
Accessories needed to prepare the adhesive iodide
Mixing cups, stirring sticks, disposable gloves, disposable work area, small mixing cups
A stretched canvas is a good workplace, but it can be lowered under the weight of the resin. Find a board or box that fits the back of the fabric and retains its shape when working with the fabric.
Step 1 - Mix the glue
Start by reading the instructions for mixing the glue. No matter how much time I have spent before, I always come back to read the instructions. Mix 1 part glue and 1 part reinforcement in a bowl.
Set the timer for 2 minutes and mix well, stirring occasionally. Then transfer the glue to a second mixing bowl and use fresh wood for another minute.
Step 2: Add the color
Then pour a little bit of bitumen into small cups. Add a few drops of clear color and opaque white.
Leave some of the netting in a mixing bowl.
Step 3 ፡ Fill in the blanks
Start by filling a small circle with clean glue. This is the center of iodine and it seems very clear.
Then pour colored glue around the center ring.
Keep adding bitumen rings until you want to cover each part of the fabric.
Then add glitter to the mini clear glue cups. Also make reflectors on each ring.
Use gloves to lift and tilt the tar to spread a lot of glue and cover the tar.
It is not too steep to avoid distorting the shape of the geotextile.
Now the bright and vibrant colors fill the gallery, it looks so beautiful.
But that is not all! In another two-step process, mix another cup of glue as before. Pour the clear glue into small mixing cups and add vague colors instead of clear colors.
Then spray the pieces with colored asphalt. This adds depth and the natural aspect of iodine. Scatter the glitter in different rings around the fabric, leaving glitter and blanks.
Finish all the glue and then drizzle the white asphalt around the ring rods. I like the look. Maybe set it aside and stop there!
Or take a step back and give it a more natural look. Use a hot press to remove bubbles and glue the edges of the white glue.
Then leave the cloth to dry overnight. Be sure to keep it on a flat surface because the resin will reach its own level when it dries and dries.
Once the fabric is dry, sand the beads under the fabric and hang them for everyone to enjoy. Sequins shine like crystals in the light.
