Joyful Anthropologie Inspired Pom-Pom Pillow!
Inspired by entertaining anthropology, a pom-pom pillow!
This pom-pom pillow brings me so much joy! I love special colors for parties. I love textures and layers. Even sparks!
Create a pom-pom pillow inspired by fun anthropology with this easy and fun guide. Use bright stretch vinyl, colorful decorations and pom poms to make the joy shine!
Almost nothing brings me as much joy as pom-pom trim.
History: When I was about 16, I attended a youth conference at Camp Williams (a nearby military base). My girlfriend Kirsten and I were lucky to be in a military atmosphere, so we went to Savers (composite store) and bought military camouflage pants.
The pants came out very masculine and we decided to fix them. We took them to my house and started decorating them. We added neon yellow triangular panels below the knee to make it look like a clock.
In addition, we added green pom-pom edges to the bottom skirt. Let’s say we made more difference in our group and the military liked it there!
Great truth !? Now look where I got the idea for this pillow! I was very excited when a large group of bloggers asked me to join Pillow Party 2019 . (Do not worry, the pillow party is coming in 2021!)
I bought sliced pom pom pillowcases here at Amazon . (shared contact)
From the lighthouse to the Fabry
I made this plan in Photoshop and imported it into Cricut Design Space. I added the picture 3 times and then erased the outlines so that each letter was a different color. Right click only to save for personal use.
Align the letters and press the EasyPress 2 button.
Cool the vinyl and then remove the protective layer.
Then I collected all the pompoms and bandages I could get. I also have these bright gold sequins.
I used Fabri-Tac to glue the pom pom cover to the pillow. This is amazing!
Simply add a line of glue and then press in place of the finish. It sticks very quickly and removes all the tension from the seam! Long live!
I continued to add snippets and finally highlighted the strategic points of the letters to mimic the Cheerful Anthropology window. If I had more energy, I would use a needle and thread to add more. But I am very satisfied with the result and little effort!
I let it sit for a few hours to make sure the glue works, and then I put the pillow down. I really like how it turned out! Isn’t it fun to be inspired by walking in Manhattan?
In October 2019, I was on an exotic vacation with my two friends in Sandu in the Turks and Caicos Islands for social media (read more here ).
On the way back we stopped in New York for a long time. It was my first trip to the city, so we packed our bags at the airport and took a taxi to Manhattan. It was a lot of fun and gave us a mini vacation with our tropical run.
It was raining and cold, but that did not stop us from seeing everything there in a short time. My favorite or most inspiring work was the Anthropology showcase. Look:

I cut the vinyl into red, yellow and pink. The best part of this project is that I used what I had and got nothing but a pillowcase.
Align the letters and press the EasyPress 2 button.
Cool the vinyl and then remove the protective layer.
