How to make a basket of hearts from woven paper for Valentine's Day
This woven heart basket is a fun paper product that I learned in third grade. We used large pieces of fleshy paper to make woven hearts for our box. All you need to make these beautiful hearts is a few sheets of parchment paper. Super last minute surprise for Valentine's Day.
This beautiful knitting design can be used to store small sweets that can be sent to neighbors or friends. You can make it as big as any of your papers.

Materials needed for woven paper hearts.
2 light colored paper (does not work with cards)

Step 1. Cut the heart of the horse in half
Start by folding the paper in half to make it 5.5 8.5. You can print this pattern on paper and then cut it out of paper. It should be 2.5 x 5 inches wide and have rounded corners at the top.
Then cut the egg on the folded colored paper, cutting 2 identical long oval pieces.
Fold the sheet of paper in half.
Step 2. Cut 2 incisions in each half of the heart

Make your knit 4, 5, 6 or even 10 pieces to knit together. Draw lines of different horses, cut them with decorative scissors.
