Buttonhole story:
In my first year of high school, I was invited to my first formal dance, Homecoming. Only at the last minute did my friend ask me if I had ever bought a grommet for this. I did not even know it was a trick! I ran into the store the day before prom and the only swag they had was $ 18. I was blown away! So expensive for something I knew I could do myself.
Another terrible story in the cap was my senior year, the Christmas formal. I bought a boutineer for my appointment and she wanted to put it on and SNAP! The whole head of the rose split in half and the buttonhole was destroyed. His mom helped me hang it with the closure so he could still wear it, but it was a real waste of money.
This was the LAST Boutineer I bought. Learn from me and create your own.

Necessary accessories for a juicy buttonhole with Boutstix:
- juicy peaks
- Headband
- Boutstix flower magnet
- flower ribbon
Step 1: Group
Start by grouping any stem or collection of succulents or flowers so that all the stems are together.
Step 2 - Lock it!
Then wrap the bundled ends of the flowers or corn bulbs with the flower ribbon.
Flower tape looks similar to paper but has an adhesive that activates with a slight stretch. Gently pull the strap around the trunks.
In this way, it sticks together when rolled and adapts slightly to irregular shapes. However, it can get a little sticky, so go slow and work carefully.
Wrap until the package is secure.
Step 3Boutstix
Now place the long piece of Boutstix on the back of the wrapped package.
Turn from the top of the bunch and go ahead and close the magnets too, they are strong enough to stay in place.
Then continue to the end of the bolt stick.
Step 4: Beautify
This is the fun part! Decorate the buttonhole as you like. I know most guys who wear it want to keep it pretty simple ... so I went with a simple snare. This way, the buttonhole can be perfectly combined with the dress!
You can also add rhinestones, buttons and more. They can be wrapped with succulents or later hot-glued. I usually wear more bodice around the wrist than buttonholes.
