What do you do to fill your summer days? If you need a fun DIY, cutting out rubber stamps is great fun! Create a stamp and use it in the mail, in your magazine or let your kids stamp it on paper anywhere. It's a complex craft, but kids and teens will love it!

Cutting rubber stamps is great fun. This requires a few consumables, but is very useful for reusable printing.

Turn this eraser into a rubber stamp!

Step 1: Print

Start cutting out a piece of paper the size of a MONO eraser.

Then use the Fudenosuke brush to write "happy" in your favorite style. If you haven't written it yet, Tombow offers FREE worksheets to get you started.

Then turn the paper over and fill in the letters with a pencil.

Then turn the paper over and fill in the entire word with a pencil.

Lay the paper on the eraser so that the drawn side of the pencil touches the eraser. Then circle the letters with a pencil. Press hard to turn the pencil into graphite. Do not press too hard on the eraser.

Remove the paper and you will see the remaining graphite.

Then, with the MONO Twin permanent marker, draw an image of the word "happy" from top to bottom on the MONO eraser.

Step 2: Cut the seal

MONO is now ready to cut the gum. If you haven't done this before, it can be tricky. The MONO Eraser material should be removed approximately 1/8 inch leaving the black letters raised.

Start with the smallest indent and circle the text. Move slowly and carefully, make the wrong cut and it will be visible in the stamp image.

Use a utility knife to access hard-to-reach places (eg Y, PP, A and H hinges).

When the size is right for you, attach the Power Mini Glue Tape with the MONO eraser to the light pad.

Step 3: Paint the Cutout

Use the side of the pen to apply ink to the surface of the stamp.

Print the photo on a sheet of paper and see if there are any other areas to cut out.

Step 4: Make the Cards Happy

You can now use the created stamp! If necessary, make a stack of greeting cards available throughout the year. Use dual-ink brush pens. Soak the seal in a damp cloth or baby detergent. Print the line on 4" x 5.25" paper.
