How does the laminated asphalt sheet work?

Create art with color, texture and shine. This is a very thick cream canvas with 2 high gloss Envirotex lithium resins. In this image, the variety of textures, lightness, depth and finishes are very interesting.

Is it any wonder that I painted the water and tea background first? The most important question is: What color is your background?

Required items for overlay resin painting

canvas
High gloss Envirotex Lite adhesive
Acrylic paint for sewing
brush
gold leaf
Glue for gilding
Mixing cup, mixing stick, gloves
Cardboard to match the canvas
Small flashlight, heat gun, or straw bladder

Step 1: a layer of burlap

Begin by painting the entire canvas with a brush and stroke pattern. Like the canvas I made three years ago. Then let the wallpaper dry completely.

Stage 2 secondary flowering

Then draw a large, subtle flower arrangement on the canvas. This flower is very scattered and random. Leave a background space between the blooming flowers. Add the green leaves. Don't expect perfection here, make it very abstract.

Step 3 First layer of resin

Now place the canvas in a cardboard box on the board to hold its shape. Then apply to a plastic cup to lift the edges of the canvas. And make sure the lid of the box is still closed.

Then mix the high density resin in a bowl. Read the instructions carefully and make sure you are correctly participating in the two-step process. Mix 2 cups with 2 different stirrers for the indicated time, then pour the resin onto the canvas and set on the stirrers.

Close the box carefully and let it dry for at least 24-48 hours.

Step 4 Next floral cover

Now add another layer of flowers on top of the flowers, leaves, fruits, dots, dots and lines.

The texture is slightly different from the canvas on a glossy surface, so it is thinner in some places and thicker in others. After adding more colors and small patterns, let the paint dry completely.

Step 5: Cover with gold leaf

Now put the gilding glue on the canvas. The glue dries completely and becomes transparent, but still very dense.

Then place the gold leaf (or spotted leaf for that matter) just above the kiki piece in the image.

So take the gold leaf and stick it in its place and it won't go anywhere else.

Once the gold leaf is in place, scrub off the remaining leaves with a stiff brush. I always walk into this room and land on the floor with a splash of gold.

Step 6: Finish the last layer of asphalt

Now put the picture back in the box and cover it with another glossy glue. Again, the asphalt needs to be properly mixed or it won't harden properly.

Then pour the glitter glue over the image. It magically adds a soft shine but gives the impression of having multiple layers of color and gold.

Close the box. This is important, because when it comes to healing, it doesn't end with trash, pet hair, flies, and so on.

After 20 minutes, open it again and dry it with a hair dryer, small oven or straw. Then let the glue dry for at least 2 days.

Remove the canvas and enjoy! At the little school of fishing that swims around the reef, I love how it looks in the water! I love that this is my invention and that no one in the house has such wisdom.
