How to make giant paper peonies!

Did you know that I have allergies to flowers? That is the truth. Absolute sensitivity. The symptoms I have allergies to are just like the flu. Body aches, headaches, fatigue ... so it usually takes a few days to realize it's an allergy and I'm not sick. Not very comfortable!

Materials needed for giant paper peonies:
Hot glue / gun (large size option here)
Step 1: Cut flower petals.
I did it with my two beautiful daughters and niece. I told them to take random tooth / heart shapes and cut them for girls.
I used 3 sheets of 12 x 12 sheets of paper for each petal. Everything ends in color.
This fun group of girls helped me cut all the flower petals. Play a movie or some fun music and turn on the interpolation to cut the page.
It is easy to fold a stack of paper and cut one stack at a time. Don't worry too much about the shape of the petals. They are unequal, normal and imperfect.
I used 4 large petals, 6-8 medium petals, 6-8 small petals and 4 teardrop petals. Round piece on the back ... about 8 inches wide. Also a long yellow slate in the middle.
Step 2: Yellow flower center
Then cut a yellow strip of paper at the edge. Make the same cut, but not across the sheet.
Then wrap the yellow tape and stick the heat in a narrow circle. Once the hot glue is slightly separated, it will not melt and will remain a bit stiff.
Finally, fold the yellow edges to add volume to the center of the flower.
Step 3: Make the base of the petals
Sprinkle the petals on the bottom and stick one by one on the round paper with hot glue. Start by placing the 4 largest petals in a circle as close to the outer edge as possible.
Then use the next large petals and place 6 of them in a circle.
Repeat the same with the next 6 largest petals. Sprinkle with hot glue and cover slightly.
Then glue the last 4 small teardrop-shaped petals around the center of the flower.
Step 4: Finish the flowers
Then add hot glue to the back of the yellow center and tear off the leaves and press between the layers of the sheet of paper.
Step 5: Repeat!
Make lots of flowers now! Try petal shape, fullness or color! Add leaves, ferns or anything else that lends your creativity to create unique flowers for spring decor, party backdrop, bedroom decor or large bouquet!
I like these color gradients, they are just magical colors!
