How to Make Acrylic Ornaments 3 Ways!
How to make acrylic decorations in 3 ways!
Hey guys, I just found acrylic blanks and I love them. I'll show you three ways to make acrylic decorations. Which ornament do you like?
Decorate your Christmas tree, make gifts for neighbors, or make some gifts to sell on holidays! The decor is minimalistic and elegant. Let's get started!
Acrylic decorations are made in 3 ways:
#1: Handwriting with markers and colors
#2: Cut permanent vinyl with cricket
#3: Engraving with a Cricket Maker
Materials needed for acrylic decoration:
Lent
paint / brush
Permanent Mark
Permanent vinyl
engraving tool
Acrylic Ornament #1: Handwriting with markers and paint
Start by peeling off the protective layer on the front and back of the acrylic sheet.
Then apply a very small amount of paint to the back of the ornament. It doesn't really come out of the bush and doesn't cover all the white. Then let the paint dry completely.
Then turn the acrylic blank over and use a permanent marker to place your surname, exclamation point, monogram, or other handwriting on the ornament.
Finally, attach the ribbon to tie on the Christmas tree. These traditional ornaments make great gifts for neighbors or family...especially by emphasizing that 2020 is an unusual year.
Acrylic Ornament #2: Permanent vinyl cut featuring cricket
Start by peeling back the protective film from the top of the acrylic blank.
Then use a cricket cutter to cut the vinyl. I chose the word funny! The holes are only less than 2 inches in diameter, so the vinyl should be smaller, but choose a larger tone to make the weed less tough. Then add the weed vinyl.
Now transfer the vinyl to the acrylic cavity using transfer tape and a cricket scraper.
Then remove the transfer tape. Remove the base on the white acrylic and tie a ribbon to the ornament.
Also perfect for special decorations, side gifts, gift labels and souvenir decorations.
Acrylic Ornament #3: Engraved with a Cricket Maker
The final decoration is my new favorite obsession. Check out this acrylic keychain I made last week. Start by removing the liner from the top of the acrylic sheet.
Design drawing in cricket design room. Select the "Enable" option. I think it's better to choose a "painted" image and a "handwritten" font.
Then flatten the image on the mat and glue the edges together, enter the engraving tools and click OK.
Then take out the ribbon and see how cool the engraving is! I like how it ends. It is elegant and graceful. If you want to open it, add a back color as the first ornament!
Then tie it with a ribbon and hang it on the Christmas tree! The perfect decoration for the perfect holiday DIY!
