Holiday Cards made with Cricut Foil Transfer Kit
Cricket Foil Transfer Kit Christmas Card
Oh! I'm really looking forward to this weekend, but do you know what that means? Christmas is coming! If you enjoy making Christmas cards and gifts, it's a good idea to start early so you can enjoy the holiday season with less and last minute stress.
This is a beautiful 5-minute Cricut map. Leave your car running while you clean the kitchen or bake pumpkin pies and you only have to make one holiday stack in the afternoon... your kitchen is clean and you have a pie!
Cricut released this foil transfer kit last year and it's a no-heat solution for a vibrant foil effect.

Step 1: Read the instructions
I know? This is a step no one wants to take. Cricut made it easy to use their tool, just look at the help page. The Cricut Chip Transfer Kit comes with 3 sizes of heads and slots. Also includes 6 sheets of gold foil, 6 sheets of silver, and an edge band.
Open the Cricut design room and find the "IMAGE ONLY" image. Find the image you like and add it to the canvas.
Then click on the Linetype tab and select the slide option with the size of the pen you are using. The software then creates a design for the shim tool and is ready to draw the dimensions.
Step 2: Insert the chip tool
Cricut Design Space will prompt you to select the type of base you wish to display. I made the cardboard but can't wait to try out the skins!
It will then ask you to insert the chip tool into slot B of the machine, in this case, a maker.
Step 3: Paste the foil
Use a light grip and place the paper on the floor. Then use the tape included with the Cricut Foil Transfer Kit to attach the foil to the paper.
Load the Cricut Car Mat and hit the Go button!
Make sure you stay where you are to make sure the project goes well...When you're done, clean the kitchen while the mover does it!
Remove the device from the device, remove the paper from the base by rolling the base behind the paper.
Then cut out the sides and place the paper on top of the card. I added a layer of metallic paper for extra pizza! I love how elegant and simple it is and look forward to making lots of Christmas cards and gift tags.
