Decorate the front porch for all the neighbors to see and enjoy Halloween all through September and October!

Halloween is very tricky. Once the "back to school" pond is over, it's time to deck the hall for Halloween! All of September and all of October are necessary to celebrate its monstrosity. Poor Christmas.

Halloween is so sneaky. As soon as the rush of Back-to-School ends, it's time to deck the halls for Halloween! It gets all of September and all of October to celebrate it's spooky nature. Poor Christmas.

I love Halloween... can you tell? My husband and I met on Halloween... and I used to like him, but he definitely made the deal. I don't like blood and ghosts... I get scared so easily! But I love the costumes, the costumes, the scenes and of course the sweets!

Start sitting behind the scary Halloween scene. I used a round plastic tablecloth to make the Victorian curtain for the front porch. This is the key to hide some sparkles on the first page. It also increases fear.

Begin by setting the backdrop for the spooky Halloween scene. I used a roll of plastic tablecloth to create a Victorian swag curtain on the front porch. This is key for hiding some surprises on the front porch. Plus, it adds to the spookiness.

The path is easy to see but perfectly decorated. Cut the bottom of the tablecloth into strips that look like fabric.

From the street it looks decorated simply but perfectly. Cut the bottom of the tablecloths into strips that look ragged.

Add a fun quote to the board like this:

The shadow of the millennium has disappeared again. Whisper in the tree, Halloween today!
--Dexter Kosen

Add a fun quote to a letterboard, like this one: Shadows of a thousand years rise again unseen. Voices whisper in the trees, tonight is Halloween! --Dexter Kozen

A life-size skeleton is a lot of fun.

The posable life size skeleton is so much fun.

This year we are perfecting the cuddly game with this cuddly toy . It's scary! Of course, it looks simple and interesting...with a bowl of candy and a toy. But he kept it a secret.

This year, we are upping our scare game with this scarecrow. He's terrifying! Sure, he looks simple and unassuming...holding a bucket of treats and toys. But he holds a dark secret.

Check out this guy in action!

No fear?

Ravens are such evil birds. Crowds form in my neighborhood around October of each year. I love them. They are often taken for granted, but I love seeing hundreds of them!

Crows are such ominous birds. Every year around October, flocks of crows settle in my neighborhood. I love them. They have often been thought of as a bad omen, but I love to see them in the 100's!
