Giant Hand Dyed Coffee Filter Rose DIY
Handmade coffee filter with giant roses at home
Colorful flowers are my favorite! I am severely allergic to real flowers so you can't have them in my house. Instead, I made some paper roses. This is my new and my favorite! Create large, hand-painted coffee flowers with just a few tools. This giant paper flower measures 16 square centimeters. Perfect for a one-eyed flower... or to create a bouquet of flowers, for a party, wedding, bouquet of flowers, or any special occasion!
This beautiful flower contains 115 hand-painted coffee beans with a soft thin shell.
Let me show you how the amazing coffee filter works. If you create one, please post it and tag me @doodlecraft. I want to encourage you!

Waxed paper or plastic tablecloth
Step 1 ፡ Color the coffee filter
First, pour 1/8 cup of water into a deep bowl. Add half a teaspoon of food coloring. The more colors you use, the brighter the color will be. Mix water and paint together.
Take 4-5 coffee filters, fold them in four and place them in the center.
Then soak the coffee filter in distilled water. The coffee filter contains food coloring.
Then place the coffee filter on wax paper or a plastic tablecloth to dry. Repeat for different colors. Let the coffee filter dry completely... about 8 hours or overnight.
Now the coffee filter is ready to turn into a beautiful pink.
Step 2 ፡ Collect the flower from the coffee filter
Start building a rose from the center to the edges.Create a center
Start by stacking yellow and orange into 5 coffee filters, then cut in half.
Pinch the corners and roll the middle stack into a cone, rolling the ends over the twisted coffee grounds.
Collect rose petals;
Now lay out the rose leaves by sorting the 5 coffee filters and folding them in half. Then place the center of the rose on the flower.
Wrap the flower petals in the center and glue them.
Repeat the process with half a cup of coffee grounds.
Then glue.
Repeat the process for the petals. The center gets bigger and bigger, which allows the petals to gather in different ways. Just lighten it on one side, then pack and seal on the other.
How wonderful to see the roses bloom! When creating a photo background, make roses of different sizes.
Paint them different colors for more size and variety. Continue pinching the petals around the rose.
I started with pink, red and orange and then finished my roses with green and green. Decide how you want your roses to look and go for it!
I love the thin coffee filter cap on these roses.
Grow petals on the old flower until you are happy with your size. My rose is 16 inches square and about 6 inches tall. I like! 115 uses coffee filters.
The back of the rose is here, you can see more flowers than before.
Flowers make it easy to hang roses on plaid hooks.
I like the watercolor color of the flowers.
Do not you like it!? This is a piece of 3D art!
Unfortunately I ran out of coffee and couldn't do more. But I like the way it is!
