DIY Resin Monogram Necklace with Vinyl
DIY resin monogram pendant with vinyl
Create a beautiful large lettering necklace in minutes. Perfect handmade gift for someone you love. If you're new to asphalt, this necklace is a great and easy-to-make project. Jewelery glue is addictive, and you will love it!
If you haven't tried using asphalt before, this is the perfect project to start with. Asphalt comes in two parts, and when mixed it produces a chemical reaction to harden. Glass-like finish, bright, smooth, crystal clear treatments.
The resin can turn yellow over time, so it's best to use it on darker or at least white areas. All adhesives will turn yellow over time, and this brand is unlimited. You will only wake up if you are working on it. Gives a great glossy finish!
I chose "H" for my son, what letter do you prefer?
Find the font with your favorite spelling. I like really good recordings, you can write them yourself with a permanent marker or use vinyl and you can cut them with an electronic cutter.
Materials for resin monogram necklace
Step 1: Cricut Vinyl
Using scissors or awl, cut out a piece of parchment paper.
Then use a cricket maker to cut the vinyl to the size of a 3/4 inch trailer.
Then place the transfer tape on the vinyl and transfer the monogram to the notebook.
Step 2: Mod Podge
Then draw the unit to the edge.
Insert sticker paper, then apply Mod Podge to the paper as well. Leave it to dry completely.
Step 3: Glue the jewelry
Now read the instructions for using jewelry resin. It is important to make sure you know the new instructions before applying the glue. It takes time and if it's not mixed properly it won't set properly and your project will fail.
Well, read the instructions.
This ramp doesn't require a lot of glue, but mix one part asphalt with one part hardener and mix for two minutes. Pour into a second cup and stir with the second beater for an additional minute. Adherence to this two-step process is critical for resin curing.
Mix gently so you don't make too much foam.
Place the stroke on a raised surface, then fill the inside of the stroke with sticky glue. Leave it for 5-10 minutes, then use a torch or heat gun to break up any bubbles. Sit and let it cure overnight.
Step 4: Add a channel
Use pliers to attach the rope to the edge.
