DIY Resin Monogram Necklace with Vinyl
DIY Stick On Vinyl Monogram Necklace
Make an expensive monogram necklace in minutes. The perfect handmade gift for someone you love. This necklace is easy to make and a great project if you are new to asphalt. Jewelry is addictive - you love it!
If you've never tried asphalt, this is a great project to start with. Glue consists of 2 parts that together make a chemical reaction to strengthen it. Reinforced glass, shiny, smooth and crystal clear.
Glue can turn yellow over time, so it's best to use it on black or at least non-white areas. All stickers will turn yellow over time, this brand is unlimited. Just a warning when working with it. Gives a beautiful glossy finish!
I chose "H" for my son, which letter do you prefer?
Find the font with the spelling of your choice. I like the fonts very nice, you can use a permanent marker and write your own, or you can use vinyl and cut it with an electronic cutting machine.
Material for Resin Monogram Necklace
Step 1: Cricut Vinyl
Cut a piece of paper into strips with your fist.
Then use the Cricut Maker to cut the vinyl to the size of the pendant frame, about 3/4" high.
Then place the transfer tape on the vinyl and transfer the monogram to the album paper.
Step 2: Mod Podge
Next, draw a fashion potion in the frame.
Put the Mod Podge poster and image on the paper. Let it dry completely.
Step 3: Glue on the jewelry
Now read the instructions for jewelry glue. It is important to ensure that the instructions are up to date before applying the glue. This is time consuming and if it is not mixed properly it will not set properly and your project will fail.
OK, read the instructions.
This frame does not require a lot of bitumen, but mix 1 part asphalt with 1 part hardener and mix for 2 minutes. Pour into the second cup and stir for another minute. This 2-step mixing process is very important for solid asphalt.
Be careful not to overdo it.
Place the dough on a baking sheet and fill the inside with the glue mixture. We sit for 5-10 minutes, and then use a flashlight or heat to open the resulting bubbles. Sitting and staying up all night.
Step 4 Add channel
Use pliers to attach the chain to the edge.
