DIY Halloween Tree Ornaments with Crow Topper on Blue Tree
Halloween Christmas tree decorations with the image of a raven on a bright blue tree
I love Halloween, but I have never decorated a Christmas tree for Halloween. It was a fun challenge - it added a fun and memorable holiday atmosphere to our home.I made this tree for Treetopia 's DIY Queen's and Kings Halloween Tree series in 2018 and I think it needs to be expanded again this year. When did you plant a tree for anything other than Christmas? It's so much fun...: addictive.
I am sharing this as part of my Halloween creative art.
Let me show you what I did with this sparkling blue Christmas tree.

First, there was a short list of trees available for this campaign. The white tree, which I really wanted, had already been chosen. I chose this blue wood because it was "thin" - it suited my house better... - in fact it was much better than the white wood.
It complements the blue and orange so it makes sense, plus I'll have a big Christmas tree in a few months.
The tree consists of 3 easily connected parts. There is this wonderful footswitch on the socket, just like you need to easily turn the light on and off... it's very nice.
This blue wood needed some polishing, so I wrapped it with mesh a few times.
The jewels I received were red, gold and green. I used gold, copper and paint to match the theme.
I bought styrofoam pumpkins from the store for a dollar and painted them copper.
I will show you the process of making decorations for these little skulls. You will need wires, wire cutters, small tools like a drum, and plastic skulls.
Start making a hole at the base of the skull.
Then place the tool on top of the head.
Cut the 6" cable with wire cutters. Use tweezers to make a small crimp on the end of the wire.
Then run the cable from the head to the top of the skull. Then twist the other end of the thread as before.
Leaving 1.5 inches at the bottom of the skull, fold the string horizontally over the head of the skull.
Then fold the top of the string into a "C" string.
Finally, push the thread up until the loop is at the base of the skull.
These little ornaments are now ready to be hung on the Christmas tree.
First fill the tree with large decorations, then add smaller ones. Remove the plastic frame from the mirror and paint it gold. Then cut the black paper to the same size.
Use felt-tip pens to write the phrase "Sweet or disgusting" on the board and mark it. Add other decorations to the tree and complete the tree with a chandelier.
Decorate the tree with a feathered raven and golden grass. The perfect top for this stunning tree. I love crows, at this time of the year I have hundreds of them at home, I love their cool "sewing" name.
Fill your home with other interesting things. Letters, vintage frames, pumpkins and a scary cat.
The Web Tree skirt is the perfect tree finish. Instead of gifts, pots and pans are very useful. Dry ice is a very fun item... for a few hours.
Skulls, canned pumpkins, it's Halloween.
See how the amazing blue Christmas tree has been transformed into a spooky Halloween tree. Did you almost forget it's a sparkling blue Christmas tree? Well!
