Cricut Joy: Rolled Paper Flowers on Easter Eggs
Cricket Happy Braai Paper Flowers with Easter Eggs
Have you used Cricut Joy before? It's small, easy to use, but has the potential of a large die-cutting machine. Read this article to get started with Cricut Joy.
This week I filled my days with crafts. Instead of running to the store, I use the furniture at home. This gift wrap flower Easter egg is easy to make and you may have everything you need to make it.
Cricket sent me Cricket Joy as part of their blog team. All comments and ideas are mine. Links included in the post.
You may have also seen this project in my Insta stories last week.
Cricket fun is beautiful ! I like small and affordable, easy and inexpensive to store. This fun project uses homemade materials and only takes a few minutes to complete!
Materials needed to make paper flowers wrapped in Easter eggs
- cricket joy
- Colored paper (use old links, scrapbooks or magazine pages...or you can color on white paper with markers)
- hot glue gun
- Easter eggs (these are man-made eggs, but plastic or hard-boiled eggs will work too)
Search "wrapped flowers" and "leaves" in the Crete design section to find the images I used.
Connect your Cricut Joy to your device using the app and Bluetooth. For Cricut Joy Playmat, resize the images and click the tool to crop.
Then unroll the flowers around the outer edge and use hot glue to glue them in the middle.
keep turning
Then put the hot glue on the middle circle and press the rolled flower in the middle.
Repeat the process for the other flowers.
Then cut off the green leaves.
Use a hot glue gun to attach the flowers to the top of the craft eggs. Add leaves randomly here and there.
Write names on them and use them as Easter blankets...or paint eyeshadow on them for a fanciful look...or just decorate them for Easter and Spring Firewood!
These are the prettiest eggs to make at home and in minutes!
Cricket fun is great!
