Dirty Acrylic Paint on DIY Resin Tray!
Create a dirty picture in a box! This fun craft is perfect for all skill levels. Trust me, I'm a beginner.
Have you seen the latest drawing trends? Acrylic infusion - one of the most interesting arts and creations. This is a surprise for everyone! You can't plan much, apparently... It's like jade hacking.
I have done a lot of research and will try to do this process for beginners. If you have any questions, please send me an email and I will help you. Several acrylic injections are made to the canvas when excess paint is rolled along the edges. Throwing it in the tray, we'd expect it to come out perfectly without much paint.
Here are some tips for drawing:
* Take your time* Mixes paint too much
* Do not mix, tear or throw
* Prepare everything you need before you start
* Do not load fillers
the required materials:
(User link)10 Colors Acrylic Paint Apple Barrel
1 round tray (12") or 1" x 12" stretchable MDF board
Silicone Grease for Floetrol Tape
10 small disposable plastic cups, blender, worktop, large 1 . glass
glossy water resin
Here is a video of the process:
Begin painting the surface of the board or canvas. I chose a black primer, but most likely not.
Pour 3/4 ounce of Flotrol into each small cup.
Add a drop of pea or 2 Apple Barrel acrylic paint to Floetrol. Take your time studying and think about color. If you know me, I work hard - always! I love blue! Choose colors that work together.
With red, it is difficult to work with, especially if you add white, because the pieces will merge with the annoying pink. You can try metallic paint, though, mixing some with Floetrol rather than mixing well.
If the product isn't what you want, remove the paint, let it dry, and do it again!
Mix each cup with a stick. Then pour a few drops of silicone oil into each cup. This will help form special cells in the final product.
Also pour 3-5 drops of water into each cup. The paint should have the consistency of warm honey. They should be discarded, not just running around and confused.
Then pour the smallest colors one by one into the large cup and form a kind of "apple" pattern. Otherwise, the paint colors are lighter and darker.
When you throw it on the cloth, fill the whole cup... you don't want to end up filling it up. For the tray, there will be no drips...so we only need 4-5 ounces of paint per cup.
Then pour the paint directly onto the drawing shape tray. When working on the fabric, place a large 4-cup trash bag on the table. Place the cloth over the glass.
Excess paint from the fabric will seep into the trash, creating "leather" that can be used for other projects.
Lift the tray and tilt the paint until the base is completely filled. Don't overload. Use a butane flashlight or a bubble gun to release any bubbles that may form...this brings out the extra "cells".
Put it in a box and close it. Lay it on a flat surface and let it dry slowly for 3 weeks! Needs drying and seasoning.
After drying, it becomes matte and dull ... and has a little texture. Use a washcloth with warm water and a small bowl of soap to clean the paint by removing the silicone grease. Do not rub and do not rub too hard.
Go back to the box and mix in a little resin.
Read package instructions carefully. Mix 4 ounces of resin (for a square foot project). Make two stages of mixing and pour the resin into the pan.
Wait 20 minutes and then use a heat gun to release bubbles. Then close the box and let it solidify for a week or 2.
Once removed, your board will look amazing! Glamorous and glamorous! All the curls and cells of this color will come to life.
You will be prone to paint spills!
