Watercolor Floral Notebooks with The Cinch Binding Tool!
Cinch's Watercolor Flower Journals!
I love making notebooks, magazines, notebooks or notebooks and the Cinch Binding Tool is the way to go!
I'm going to show you how to create your own wonderful gift notebook for a wonderful gift with a wonderful Doodles, a notebook or just for a reason! Build a wired laptop in minutes.
Three years ago I bought The Cinch at a local thrift store for $15! I don't know if it works...
I argued for a while...but then realized I could return it with store credit if the device didn't work. I bought it and never looked back!
Here is a video of a sewing machine in action from the last post
The best part is that the notebooks can work the way you want. Choose your size, choose your filler paper, mix it up! Take strands of different sizes and make them as thick or thin as you want.
I started with 4 notebooks in the middle, but after cutting the paper I have a lot of scraps. So I have made and enjoyed many other sizes.
Create a notebook and leave the cover blank so the recipient can decorate it or design the cover like me.
These notebooks, perfect for quick notes in your pocket, make a great gift for a teacher.
OK Pro Tips -
If you have a sewing machine , the thread can be very expensive. I ordered large strands in 2 1 1 point, 3/4 በወ in gold and white (I got mine from MyBinding.com )
Honestly, I don't have a car anymore now that I have one! Excellent value for money now, just in time for the holidays.
Items Needed for Tulip-Related Notebooks
3/4 እስከ 1 to 1 1/2 በ በ with a diameter of 2:1.
Strathmore Heavyweight Mixed Media Paper (This paper is too heavy, suitable for laptop covers)
Filler paper (I use 32 lb leather for luxury).
You can fill (color paper, watercolor paper, drawing paper, filler paper, etc.).
For watercolors;
Dr. PH Martens India Color (provides vivid color)
Step 1: watercolor
Start by cutting thick Strathmore Mixed Media paper to the size of a notebook. Then paint the pattern you want! Then let the paint dry completely.
The covers can even be left blank so the recipient can create their own!
Step 2: Cut the paper
Now cut out the filler paper, chipboard and wrapping to secure the notebook. These beautiful books measure 4 x 6 inches.
Each book requires a piece of chipboard for the spine, one piece at a time. The filler paper can be just over 1/2 inch thick overall...so the paper size will vary depending on the thickness of the filled paper.
Step 3: make holes
Now read the graph on the left. Since my board is 6 inches wide, I have to remove key number 12 so it doesn't fit in the hole. Then straighten the paper to the left and pull the lever.
The eclipse holds up to 20 filler sheets at a time. I usually only do 6-8 pages at a time.
Repeat the process of drilling the particle board and all the filler sheets.
Make sure the paper is aligned to one edge and press that edge against the machine.
Press step 4 ፡
Now is the time to finish the notebook. Start by counting the holes on a sheet of paper. Then cut the thread to make as many loops as possible. Then hang the thread on the side of the machine.
First, place the chipboard backing over the wires.
Then place the laptop cover in front of the chipboard over the wires.
When you open the lid, make sure it's facing the right way. I messed up some!
Then place all the filler sheets on the wire.
Step 5 ፡ Tie the tie
Carefully lift the cables from the end and place them directly behind the chopper. Make sure it is set to match the wire diameter you are using. Then click on the elevator to cut the cables.
So delete the notepad and discover the theme! I love how easy it is to hold them tight!
Repeat this process for every laptop you can imagine!
I usually start with a small piece of finished product paper so I can trim the edges and blend the image into a notebook.
I cut the typing paper into 4 x 6 inch pieces and left a lot of trash that I didn't want to throw away. So I used chipboard and wrapping paper to twist the notebooks and used wire cutters.
What is your favorite notebook? I'm giving away a few for Christmas, although I love notebooks and I'm staying! This is what makes the zinc bonding device so important and so wonderful...and to be honest, it weighs gold.
Just add a fun pen and heart note, boom! Perfect gift! My daughter and I started a travel magazine. You draw on one page, and then I draw on the next... We exchange them and we can't wait to see the wisdom or the reflection of the other.
