Valentine Heart-Shaped Paper Envelope DIY
DIY Valentine Heart Shaped Paper Envelopes
I love Valentine's Day for decorations and hearts. I think it's a fun way to celebrate love and think about other people. Heart-shaped paper envelopes are the finishing touch for Valentine's Day and easy to make! Learn how to make beautiful heart-shaped paper envelopes for the perfect Valentine's Day card!
I remember doing Valentine's Day a lot, it was my favorite party because I can be very smart... I don't like to prepare for Valentine's Day. These envelopes are perfect any time of year and make a very special letter gift!
Supplies needed to make a heart-shaped envelope:
12 x 12 sheets (my DCWV)
Wax seal , wax stick and hot glue gun (especially for wax seal)
Step 1: heart shape
In the Cricut Design Space, click the shape button and select Hearts. The scale for filling the mattress is 11.5 inches wide. Place your paper on the mat and cut it out.
Remove the paper core from the mat. Wow, perfect heart!
Step 2: Fold the heart
Turn the heart over and fold the corner so that it is in the middle of the top edge of the heart.
Repeat the fold on the other side in the same way.
Next, fold the bottom of the heart up so that it meets the top of the side panel. Glue, staple or staple in place.
Finally, fold the top cover down, which is the end of the heart. The top of the core covers everything and is ready to be filled and sealed.
Step 3: Decorate the envelope in the shape of a heart!
Cut the card to fit your envelope; it will be very cute with the same or similar paper family. Then add your card or greeting and cover with an elegant wax seal.
You can also use stickers or masking tape to make it funnier.
Perfect heart shape! It's a fun way to teach kids how to make envelopes too! They can be made from recycled magazines, scraps of paper... or old kid's scribbled pages!
**Note: the thinner the paper, the easier**
A great way to say "I love you!" Every day of the week!
