Start with the markers on the pumpkin to mark where you want the nails to be. I just wrote the word "BU" to make punctuation easier.

Then, with a hammer, gently tap the pumpkin with your nails. Pumpkin is strong, firm and holds nails well. Set aside 1/4 inch of the nail.

Now take a thread with a pattern to wrap it around your nails.

Start with the knot at the end of the thread. Then click around the first nail.

Double knot to make it beautiful and durable.

Then wrap the nail completely around the next nail, returning the first, then the second. Then wrap the second nail and move on to the third. Turn down the system, it works smoothly.

When the first letter is ready, tie a sewing thread. Then repeat the process for the next letter.

And finally the last letter. I love the look of this pumpkin string art.
