Star Wars Sugar Skull Shirts with Cricut!
Star Wars Sugar Skull T-Shirt with Cricket!
The perfect combination is Star Wars and Halloween! Make great tea for any day of the week with these delicious cricket sugar skulls. These shirts are great because I used black metal-on vinyl over a black shirt. They are hidden but identified!
Accessories required for Star Wars T-shirts
Black T-shirts
(Search for Star Wars images and find images of Dart Vader, Trooper and Boba Fett Sugar Skull)
Step 1: Cut out the images
Find these sugar skull images from Star Wars in Cricut Design Space. Then place them on the canvas and change the size. I am up to 11 inches wide for adult men's shirts.
You will see the metal on the vinyl mat with the shiny side to the adhesive surface. Reflect the image and click the "Create" button. Cricut machine cut the metal.
Step 2: Remove the iron-vinyl
Remove the vinyl support from the carpet and remove excess vinyl.
It is a very detailed image and needs careful weeding. Using the Cricut BrightPad can be very helpful when viewing broken lines.
Use the Cricut Hook Tool to remove any negative spots in the metal.
I love the skull pictures in Star Wars movies!
Repeat the process for all images.
Step 3: Press the metal
Now use EasyPress 2 to warm the shirt. Then place the metal on a warm shirt, check the middle.
Then print EasyPress on your T-shirt.
The image size is large enough to perform this two-step process. Set EasyPress to the recommended settings and press for the recommended time.
Then let the vinyl on the iron cool completely. After cooling, scrape off the transfer paper. It is called cold peel and is almost always recommended.
no more!
Now you can celebrate your love of Star Wars and Halloween with these amazing t-shirts!
Which of these shirts do you prefer? Darth Vader, Stormtrooper or Boba Fett?
The black foil iron has a skin that I love as a finish! This is so cute!
I used black gloss for the soldier and it looks amazing!
I like to use my Cricut to make handmade gifts. Two of these funny t-shirts were actually sent as a wedding to newlyweds! Guess what my husband liked?
