Rustic pumpkins made with metal ribbon and tree branches.
Shebby chic DIY metal rustic pumpkin
Create your own rustic pumpkin for the perfect fall decor. I saw something similar in the recreation room and knew I could recreate it with some of the items I already had. It adds an elegant and cheerful element to your patio for the fall break. I love how it all turned out!
It is very easy to do within an hour or two. The bigger it is, the easier it is to make ... so start big and then small. Isn't she beautiful !?
You will need: (Affiliate link included)
Metal bar ( here or here or here )

Tree trunks (8, 6 and 4 inches)
Tree trunks (cut for stems)
3/4 " screw with washer
Dig and bite
hot glue gun
Open the metal rod and start with a little rest.
Use a drill to make a hole in the center of the branches.
Loosely wrap the metal in a circle around the stick ... let it swell a little around the edges. Gently twist the metal and insert it lightly into the stick. Release it to form a piece.
Use a washer to prevent the screw from slipping into the metal groove.

The latter is a bit complicated and I did not have any photos of the process, sorry! Fold the low metal band so that it forms a loop in the middle around the stick.
The metal is soft and easy to bend if needed. I had an extra piece of metal ribbon that I tied to the top to be a foil. Then lock in place with a washing machine.
Then use a hot glue gun and a short capsule ... and E6000 o.
Apply a little E6000 glue to the center of the rod.
Then fill the outer edges with hot glue. The hot glue will help them hold on instantly and the E6000 will give them strength for a long time.
Stick it directly on the screw and metal strip.
Repeat for all the pumpkins you want! It's a fantastic remnant - and even more amazing, you can create it yourself!

Suitable for September and every November!
