DIY Cart Organizer Throw acrylic on abstract paint!

I picked up the container for this vase and knew throwing 3D paint on it would be a great way to round it off. Go to your nearest destination and discover a fun collection of wood surfaces and colorful paint!

Necessary supplies:

Modern planter manually (from target)
Delta Ceramcoat Acrylic Paint (by Al Hadaf)
5 oz paper cup popsicle sticks for mixing water



It reminds me of the beach and the sea I choose to paint colors. I never shy away from mosaic and blues. Choose your favorite colors - what colors will you choose?

Paint mixture:

Start by pouring some paint into the paper cup. The surface of the wooden vase bowl is not large, so this project does not require much paint. I mixed green with blue to create a darker tile. I used more shades of blue than green or peach.



Add a little water to the paper cup with paint. This is not an exact science. Mix the paint with water until it stops sticking like the "Hot Honey" series. If it flows too much, it will not stick to the wood project. If it's too thick, it will not move once you have cast it.



Pour the stick into the glass to check the thickness of the paint. It's better to be a little more queen than to be fat. I think I just added as much water to the paint as I did to the glass.



Once you have mixed all the colors to the right texture, it's time to pour it! Pour liquid and random acrylic. Do not stick to perfection ... it's a wild, comfortable and cool way to express yourself. If you do not like the way it turned out, you can do it again by scraping it!

acrylic mold:

Start with an empty paper cup. Then pour acrylic paint into the glass "louver". It does not have to be specific. Just add this and that!


Once you have poured the paint into one cup, pour it into a wooden bowl. Make sure there is a drop of paper at the bottom as it falls off the edges.



Then take the container and tilt it so that the paint sticks and the edges are closed.



Use a stick to plow any excess paint into the container as desired. I added some peaches and light greens. Repeat the process on the side so that the designs also appear intentionally.

Touch any empty areas with the stir bar. Then collect the can in a few empty cups while it dries.



Let the wagon dry overnight or for a few days. Thicker coats of paint should dry slowly or they will crack, so do not heat them or try to dry them quickly.



Once dry, you can finish it off with some clean acrylic, then fill it with flower pots, napkins and straws and have a party! Or charge it with a pen, pencil, marker, lighter and calculator and use it on your desk to keep school supplies tidy.

Liquid acrylic paint in trays: There is no end to trying to get extra paint ... so leave a piece of plastic waiting and empty the glass after you have poured it into the tray.


Dirty marble with checkered layer (actually this is the exact shape with which this necklace was made)
