Shabby Chic Rustic Metal Pumpkins DIY

Rustic pumpkins made with metal ribbon and tree branches.
Shebby rustic chic metal pumpkins with their own hands.
Create your own rustic pumpkins for the perfect fall decor. I saw something similar at Hobby Lobby and knew I could recreate it with some of the items I already had. They add such a hilarious and stylish element to our fall holiday front porch. I love how it went!
They are pretty easy to make in an hour or two. The bigger they are, the easier they are to make... so start big and do less. Don't they look great!?
You will need: (affiliate links included)
Metal band ( here or here or here )

Tree trunks (8, 6 and 4 inches)
Branch sticks (short pieces for stems)
3/4" bolts with washers
boredom and boredom
glue gun
Start by opening the metal band and letting it loosen up a bit.
Use a drill to make a hole in the center of the branches.
Wrap the metal loosely in a circle around the stick...give it a little tap on the sides. Gently and lightly screw the metal into the stick. Keep it loose to form a lump.
Use a washer so the screw doesn't slip through the holes in the metal.

The next step is a bit tricky and I haven't received any photos of the process, sorry! Wrap layers of foil tape around the rings to form the center of the stick.
The metal is smooth and easy to bend if needed. I had an extra piece of metallic tape that I attached to make it into aluminum foil. Then secure it with a washer.
So use a hot glue gun and short capsules... and the E6000 too.
Apply some E6000 glue to the center of the rod.
Then fill in the outer edges with hot glue. The hot glue will help you resist instantly and the E6000 will give you strength for a long time.
Directly attach it to the screw and metal tape.
Repeat for as many pumpkins as you like! It's cute and stylish, and more amazing than you can do yourself!

They are perfect from September to November!
