Shabby Chic Rustic Metal Pumpkins DIY

Rustic pumpkins made with metal ribbon and tree branches.
DIY Shabby Chic Rustic Metal Pumpkin:
Create your own rustic pumpkins for the perfect fall decor. I saw something like Hobby Lobby and I knew I could recreate some of the stuff I already had. Add a fun and luxurious element to our fall vacation patio. I love the way it turned out.
It's easy to do in an hour or two. The bigger the size, the easier it will be to make...so start big and work your way down. Aren't they great!?
You will need: (includes affiliate link)
wired tape ( here , here or here )

Tree sticks (8.6 by 4 inches)
Tree trunk (shortcut to the trunk)
dig or bite
glue gun
Start by opening the metal belt and let it sit for a while.
Use the drill to make a hole in the center of the branch.
Wrap the metal loosely around the stick... letting it swell slightly around the edges. Gently clamp the metal to the light bar. Save it for the template.
Use a washer to prevent the screws from slipping through the metal holes.

The following steps are a bit tricky. I still don't understand the process image, sorry. Wrap the strip of metal tape to form a circle around the stick as the center.
The metal is smooth and easy to bend if needed. I have an extra piece of metallic tape that I attached to it to make a leaf. Then fix it in place by washing it.
So use a hot glue gun, a short stick...like the E6000.
Apply E6000 glue directly to the center of the rod.
Then fill in the outer edges with hot glue. Hot glue will help achieve this right away, and E6000 will provide long-term durability.
Install it directly over the metal screws.
Repeat as many pumpkins as you want. It's cool: a little fancy, more amazing than you can do yourself.

It is perfect from September to November.
