Resin Pour Geode Glitter Canvas DIY
Resin for Geode Glitter Canvas DIY:
Apply resin to the Geode canvas and add shine to the perfect mural. Reminiscent of geodesy, this stunning canvas filled with resin shows layers of open shiny crystals. Create unique wall art using geodetic casting techniques with high gloss gloss.
My favorite color is blue. I love all shades of blue. So most of the projects I create are blue. What is your favorite color? What color will your jade be?
GRAPE GEODES REQUIRED REQUIREMENTS.
Mixing cups, mixing sticks, disposable gloves, disposable surface, small mixing cups
This is a good surface to work with a stretched canvas, but the canvas can fall under the weight of the resin. Find a board or box that will fit the base of the fabric while you work with the resin that will hold the egg.
Step 1. Mix the resin
Start by reading the instructions for mixing the resin. Although I have used it several times in the past, I read the instructions each time. Mix one part resin and one part hardener in a bowl.
Set the timer for 2 minutes and mix gently, rubbing the sides and gluing evenly. Then transfer the resin to a second mixing jar, stirring with a new stirring stick for a full minute.
Step 2. Add color
Then pour a little resin into smaller cups. Add a few drops of a transparent color - an opaque white pigment.
Leave some of the pure resin in the bowl.
Step 3. Bot
Start by casting a small circle of light-colored resin. This is the center of the jade, looks great.
Then wrap the colored resin rings around the transparent middle ring.
Add more resin rings, don’t worry about covering every area of fabric at this point.
Next, add a little glitter to small pots of pure resin. Also shine in different rings.
Lift the canvas with your hands, bend the resin to expand it, cover the canvas.
It is not very steep, so it does not distort the surveying egg.
Now that the translucent colors have filled the canvas, it looks very beautiful.
But it's not over yet. Mix the resin pot in 2 steps as before. Pour the clear resin mixture into small jars, instead of translucent color add opaque colored pigments.
Then pour the colored resin into the ring on top of the translucent resin. This adds such depth to the natural geodetic view. Spray the gloss with individual rings around the canvas, leaving some areas heavily covered with sequins and others blank.
Finish with all the resin, then use a mixing stick to spray the white resin around the rings. I love this look. Maybe set it aside and stop here.
Or take a step forward to make it more natural. Use a heat shrink tool to release the bubbles formed and seal the edges of the white resin.
Then let the handkerchief dry. Make sure it is on a flat surface as the resin will harden as it dries and hardens.
Once the canvas is dry, use sand to wipe off any droplets that have formed on the canvas and hang it so the whole world can enjoy it. The light shines like crystals in the light.
