When I was 17, I was afraid people would forget it was my birthday. A week after my mother passed away, I needed more love and attention. I went to school that day and told everyone in the hallway that it was my birthday.
hello what do you see? Today is my birthday: I have received everyone I have seen and known to congratulate me. This was long before the days of Facebook on social media, so spoken words were the only way to grab attention or bring out memories.
That night I had to go to a (fairly boring) Scout dinner with my dad, because my mom had just died, she needed a 'plus 1', so I spent my birthday with my dad. I had a great time with him, I was so glad I was able to help him, he must have felt the loss of his beloved wife.
When I got home that night, my table was full of chocolates, flowers, stuffed animals, etc. was full of b. You found me waiting.
Apparently most of the boys I mentioned had a birthday present at school when they went to give them gifts. It was a funny surprise.
