Joyful Anthropologie Inspired Pom-Pom Pillow!
Inspired by anthropology, a cheerful pillow with pompoms!
This pump pillow gives me so much joy! I love the colors of non-traditional holidays. I love the textures and the layers. Sparkle too!
Create a fun anthropology-inspired canopy cushion in this easy and fun tutorial. Use brightly colored vinyl and multicolored covers and pumps to spice up the fun!
Almost nothing brings me as much joy as the end of a pompom.
Short story: When I was about 16, I attended a youth conference at Camp Williams (a nearby military base). My girlfriend Kirsten and I were lucky enough to be in a military environment, so we went to Savers (Composite Store) and bought some army camouflage pants.
The pants were very masculine and we decided to make them. We took them to my house and started fixing them. We added neon yellow triangular panels from the knee to the skirt to make it look like a watch.
In addition, we added a green pompom decoration around the bottom skirt. Suppose we are the most selected in our group and the army liked it!
Great truth !? Now look where I got this pillow idea from! I was so excited when a large group of bloggers asked me to join Pillow Party 2019 . (Do not worry, Pillow Party 2021 is coming!)
I bought a Pom-Pom Cut Out Pillowcase from Amazon here . (Shared contact)

I created this plan in Photoshop and implemented it in the cricket design space. I added the image 3 times and then erased the outlines so that each character was a different color. Right click only to save for personal use.
Align the characters and then press the EasyPress 2 button.
Allow the vinyl to cool and then remove the back.
Then I gathered all the pompom and candy decorations I could get. I also bought these shiny gold sequins.
I used Fabri-Tac to attach the decoration to the pillow with a pompom. This thing is amazing!
Just add the glue line and then click Finish. It pastes very quickly and relieves all the stress associated with sewing from the project! Long live!
I kept adding pieces and in the end I illuminated the strategic location of the characters and tried to mimic the ethnographic colored window. If I have more energy, I will use needle and thread to add more. But I am very happy with the results and the little effort!
I glued it on for a few hours to make sure it worked and then put it on the pillow. I really like how it turned out! Isn’t it fun to be inspired by walking in Manhattan?
In October 2019, I was on an outdoor vacation in the Turks and Caicos Islands with 2 of my friends in Sandu for social media ( talk about this ).
On the way back we changed for the long trip to New York. Since this was my first visit to the city, we left our bags at the airport and took a taxi to Manhattan. It was great fun and gave us a little respite with our tropical getaway.
It was raining and cold, but that did not stop us from seeing what we could do in a short time. My favorite or most inspiring thing was the anthropology exhibit. Watch it:

I cut the vinyl into red, yellow and pink. The best part of this project is that I used what I had and did not have to buy anything other than a pillow.
Align the characters and then press the EasyPress 2 button.

There was a second window where the word "cheerful" was written ... It was beautiful too, but Joy melted my heart.
