How to Use the Cricut Mug Press
How to use Cricut mug press
Making mugs is my favorite craft and Cricut made it so easy! Cricut Mug Press is a heat press specially designed to sublimate cups, glasses and other cylinders. Create a personalized mug from start to finish in half an hour or less - the perfect craft for a last minute gift.
Cricut mug press is a game changer. I’ve been making sublimation cups in the oven for the last year and I like how they come out ... but I like not using my kitchen for sublimation. The mug press is perfect for a craft shelf. It heats up quickly and takes about 5 minutes to prepare a cup.
I got a Cricut Mug Press in exchange for my lesson. I love Cricut and have been working honestly with them for 5 years. It was so much fun to create with Cricut - let's get started!
The Cricut mug press comes packaged well with the mug press. I recommend buying a package to get started.

Necessary accessories:
Cricut (any Cricut cutting machine will work)
Cricut ink transfer fuses
Cricut design room
Step 1: Round design
Create your image in Cricut Design Space. The cup body should measure 4 "X 9". I also used a square, so I clicked on the unlock icon and changed the options to a rectangle.
Use the shape tool to create a circle 2 inches in diameter. Redefine the rectangle and circle, then select the two layers and click the Cut button.
Delete the extra layers of the circle so that the circle is cut out. Now choose your favorite font to fit the perfect monogram in a 2-inch circle. Then send the layout to the creator. Flip the image to click the flip button.
Step 2: Cut off the infusible ink
Apply infusible ink, color up, on a durable surface.
Then click the "Start" button to crop the layout.
I created the Houndstooth background and then cut out the monogram using black ink.
Step 3: Prepare the cup
Wipe the cup with a lint-free cloth. Then place the cropped monogram in the white circle of the Infusible Ink background.
Then place the infusible ink in the bowl so that the colored ink touches the cup. Make sure the non-fusible ink is resistant to heat transfer tape.
Step 4: Heat the Cricut Mug Press
Connect Cricut Mug Press. If you are using it for the first time, the connection process takes a few minutes but is very easy. Follow the instructions in the Getting Started book and connect Cricut Mug Press to your computer.
Step 5: Cricut Cup printing time
Now place the cup in the Cricut Mug Press and close the latch so that the cup is tightly closed.
Cricut Mug Press will heat the cup for about 5 minutes and turn on some lights until they are all turned on. Then open the key and remove the cup.
Be careful, it gets hot!
Allow the jar to cool completely, then remove the heat-resistant tape and Infusible Ink Transfer and boom, kitto!
Fuse ink is evenly transferred to the surface in vivid and vivid colors. The mug is safe in the dishwasher and microwave, and it’s the perfect gift!
Excessive transfer, bright and vibrant colors and endless possibilities! I’m in love with making mugs and the effectiveness of the Cricut mug press increases.
