Have you found the joy of Cricut Joy ? I love my small car but it's powerful...and perfect for use during social distancing. This little device is perfect for beginners. The best part is the mat for making paper, it's the dynamite!
Let me show you how easy it is to make Cricut Joy and cut out a handmade card using a paper mattress.

Cricut Joy measures 20.3 x 12.7 x 10.2 cm, making it easy to put it in your drawer or store when not in use.

Let's start with the perfect first project: how to use the mat for card making!
Step 1: Connect!
Install it in the car. Turn on Bluetooth on your phone or device. Download the Cricut Design Space app.

Step 2: Draw!
Start by selecting a map in the Cricut design space. Many are free to use, and some require additional purchases. I chose this table for a tandem bike, I loved it. Follow the simple instructions on your phone or device.
Remove the plastic cover from the card pad. Then put the paper on the rug and stick the top of it on the rug.
Insert the pen into the Cricut Joy and press Start.

Step 3: Draw and Wait!
The machine will then ask you to replace the handle with a cutting blade. Then click "Go" and this will cut out the design.
Step 4: Remove the mat!
When cutting is complete, the device will prompt you to remove the base. Go ahead and delete.
Then remove the postcard and discard the pieces.
Step 5: Insert the Card!
Then place a colored paper or metallic accessory inside the card to show it off! The letters really shine here!

Although I have a Cricut Maker, I find myself using Cricut Joy . It is very simple and does not require a lot of desk space, computer time or large consumables. I can just hook it up, close it, and wait! It is ideal for both beginner and advanced students.
